The rock and Ryan Reynolds’s in real life are best friends tho. They do love acting in movies together. So whatever movie you see the rock in just don’t be surprised if Ryan Reynolds’s makes an appearance

This should have just been it's own independent film, it didn't need the fast and furious title

ivica

I can't wait for Fast 9👌

Mason Richards

You've gotta watch re notice if you like the Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson duo

Aldo Gonzales

This is the buddy cop film I didn't know I needed. It doesn’t beat Rush Hour, but it’s up there along with Falcon & Winter Soldier. In my opinion, this was one of the better films in the franchise. Some of my favorite funny moments include Mike Oxmaul, Hugh Janus, F1 F2 FU, and access denied times infinite. By the way, the director of this movie is David Leitch. He also worked on Deadpool 2 which you’ve already seen. That’s why Ryan Reynolds and Rob Dulaney showed up out of nowhere. Ryan also voiced the Eteon director as a separate character. Keanu Reeves was in talks for that role. As for Kevin Hart, he showed up thanks to Dwayne Johnson. They worked together twice before on Central Intelligence and Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle. I also loved how they incorporated Samoa into the film. It’s no secret that Dwayne Johnson has Polynesian heritage through his mom’s side of the family. They actually filmed in Kaua'i as a stand-in, but it definitely helped to bring the family element along. By the way, remember when Hobbs performed a dance with his daughter and her soccer/football team in Fate of the Furious? That was called a haka. Choreographer and Polynesian cultural advisor Layne Hannemann wrote the haka song and sent it to a group of elders in New Zealand for approval. After this movie, Idris Elba would go on to portray Bloodsport in James Gunn’s Suicide Squad. Idris also contributed to the soundtrack for this movie by teaming up with LA-based hip hop group Cypress Hill for a song called Even If I Die. Hattie Shaw was portrayed by Vanessa Kirby. You’ll be seeing her again next year in the MCU’s version of the Fantastic Four. She’ll get to portray Sue Storm/Invisible Woman. The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits cinemas late July.

The more I watched this the more i realized it was a giant money grab lmao. Rock, Ryan Reynolds, Jason Statham, Idris - just box office stars with a fast and furious spinoff reference. Nothing like fast & furious. Just a money maker lmao
