I think everything about Lydia and her abilities are very mysterious in the show. But it was shown lots of times that banshees are not like werewolves. They seem to still be considered as "more human", for example she doesn't heal and she can cross mountain ash. But somehow, she was also "immune" to the bite, and to the kanima venom (which affects human + supernatural). Everything shows that Lydia and banshees in general are just mystical creatures that can defy supernatural/human rules, I guess...

Don, Deaton warned them about the Nemeton in Season 3A, they still decided to go through with the plan.Even though it was for a heartwarming reason, it is definitely their fault.

Wasn't it one of the shows he was checking out to possibly watch in the future? I seem to recall he watched a pilot and a couple episodes of a few shows, at least two of them, and said in the video he wasn't picking them up yet because he had his limit of shows right now, but he was checking them out to possibly watch in the future. I'm pretty sure Reacher was one of them. EDIT: Maybe I'm mis-remembering about Reacher, as I see he did more than just a couple episodes. It would be helpful if he posted a video or at least a written explanation of where he stands on what shows so people don't have to keep wondering and asking without getting answers.

Did he like actually drop Reacher completely? Cuz I just assumed he was just more focused on TVD and teen wolf. He probably just forgot to continue Reacher, he might get back to it soon but it doesn’t help that Don doesn’t check the comments so who knows when that will be

I mean I don’t Lydia was “immune” the the bite, in fact it was the bite that activated her banshee powers to begin with, i think the way it works is that you can only be one or the other like you can’t be both a werewolf and a banshee unless you’re a chimera. And since Lydia was technically already a banshee since she inherited it from her grandma I think the bite just sped up her development of her powers. As for the kanima venom I have no idea how she was immune to that 🤷🏽‍♂️
