This is the 5th time I've watched this episode, and I still can't figure out Deb's over-the-top reaction to the DNA test. I get being upset that something about their "exalted" father is being called into question, but it was such a huge overreaction. It doesn't make any sense. I wouldn't say it's completely out of character with what we've seen of her so far, but it seems too much. After the 5th time seeing it, I've got to say it kind of pisses me off, LOL, because Dexter has every right in the world to do a DNA test if he wasn't 100% sure (and even if he was certain).

i think her freaking out was more Dexter being her only family and him finding his bio dad meant he wasnt her family anymore and her losing him i guess a big over reaction but she didnt get attention from her dad so i guess that did something to her too
