Yes! As much as I'm enjoying The Originals as my first time watching, I'm definitely a Dexter fan and appreciate the change of pace. A bit more Supernatural would also not go amiss, and I'm now missing The Vampire Diaries after the much-needed break in TVD reactions. I apologize to the Teen Wolf fans out there, but Season 5 broke me, and I'm over it, lol, though I see Don has picked it up again, which is fine. We all get a bit of something!

I have to admit, if I were in Deb's shoes, Rudy's behavior would lead me to believe he's more romantically interested in the brother than her. We all know it's not a romantic thing, of course, more like a weird serial killer....um, bond? But with Debra not knowing about that, it would probably cross her mind that Rudy's interest is more (if you'll excuse the phrase) in the dick than the chick. 😆 I've not been in that situation, but that's what I would be starting to wonder. Even with the white-rose peace offering.

We as the viewer already know that Rudy is the ice truck killed. Given everything that's been going on with Rudy targeting Dexter and knowing he's a serial killer, the implication so far is just that Rudy is interested in another killer. Observing and poking. Nothing Gay. I don't know how anyone that paid attention to the show would ever even slightly believe it's a Gay thing.

Everyone forgets that at this point in the show, we as the viewer know that Rudy is the Ice Truck Killer. His obsession with Dexter can be chalked up to morbid curiosity about a fellow serial killer. Dexter does the same thing in S4 Iykyk.

Because people view the same thing through different lenses. At this point, we the audience are left to speculate as to why Rudy is pushing so hard to get to know Dexter, and there can be many theories, including that it's some sort of bromance or even romantic bond between serial killers, since we do at least know that Rudy's aware of Dexter's extracurricular activities. We also know Rudy's a lot more adept socially and sexually than Dexter is, so it could be a valid theory at THIS POINT (we can't discuss what will happen in future). For my part, I didn't feel that Rudy's interest in Dexter (again, at THIS point), was anything beyond a twisted serial killer game. From the girlfriend's POV, though, it definitely would have entered my mind that my boyfriend seems a lot more *interested* in my brother than me! 😄
