garou (the red haired guy) never took the monster core or got offered one but ep 11/12 of s2 he was fighting 8 A ranks then genos then S rank 3 bang (grey haired guy who trained garou) and his older brother bomb but the massive centipede distracted all 3 from garou letting him get carried by the bird to the monster associations hq. The centipede was then killed by saitama. The only people we saw take the monster core was at the world tournament who was killed and sonic who cooked it but got the shits from eating it after it was cooked

What we have seen from garou at this point is him after fighting S rank dog guy then S rank metal bat then fighting 8 A ranks then fighting S rank genos then fighting S rank 3 bang then his brother bomb and now the monster association wants him to kill a hero when he hasnt healed from those fights before he got took

When he first started the show i think he did 2 or 3 episodes then said it was weird people wanted him to watch it then stopped but recently he watched 7 episodes so look at when he uploaded ep 2/3 then look when he uploaded ep 4 and thats when he might start watching it again
