Good people make for good events and good gear (Patreon)
Content
Hello,
I hope you're well. I'm back and fresh ... fresh with snot dripping down my face every few seconds, yay!* ... from the London Synth & Pedal Expo.
It's always good to see people and events really ring home how it's good people that make good gear and that make for good events. So I made a video about the people and event as a whole. As well as showing the space I wanted to ask people who were they and what they did, to show faces and names, but I asked people to spin it as if they were talking to someone who had no idea about music tech. Examples were, tell me what you do as if you're speaking to your friends grandparents, or an alien comes to earth and has never seen a synth or pedal before. Some got it, some didn't and reverted back to standard industry type intros, which is fine but not as good as the funny answers some gave.
As well as the new video I wanted to let you know that I'll have a second video on the AtoVproject Dual Harmonic Oscillator on Thursday which provided, yet again, a fantastic range of impressive musical tones. Following that on Saturday I'll have a live stream (and in person event if you can get into Barcelona) with Befaco from the EU Elevator Sound shop for the launch of 3 new modules from them.
Have a great week, I'll be back with more posts soon and see you in the Discord!
*I've had what feels like a cold that's come in harsher waves but subtly lingered since about November now, not sure if any of you have had the same but it's naff!
