SUBMISSIONS OPEN FOR FEATURED SYSTEMS

It's been a while since the last round of Featured Systems action and we're bringing it back! If you're totally new to the idea you can see the original post HERE. The idea is fairly simple, you submit an image (or multiple images, plus some info) of your set up (this can be just a single modular case, multiple cases, the whole studio and other instruments etc) and that is then randomly selected to be 'featured'. Once featured that becomes a talking point in the dedicated channel in our Discord community space and I post this to Instagram as well (tagging you as appropriate).

Featured Systems has been a fun thing over the years as it gives us a chance to have a single set up as a talking point, sharing and learning from each other along the way. It also lets me shout out supporters nicely too.

To submit and get involved you need to be in the Discord server, if you're not in it yet HERE is how to link your Patreon & Discord accounts to get access. Then add your picture into the #featured-systems channel. Any questions you can ask here in the comments or over on Discord.

There's no immediate deadline, but I'll close off submissions at some point once this gets going.

TRACE RESTOCKS + DIY

My module Trace (a 4HP wonderland of scanning) with Vostok Instruments is back in stock at multiple places now for those that missed the first batch (wow that sold out quickly!).

You can find stock in the UK at Elevator Sound, in the US at Detroit Modular and in the EU at Elevator Sound (Barcelona).

We've also got DIY kits coming soon! Thonk will be facilitating and providing their fantastic service to us all for this. I'll announce that when it's ready, but that will be soon.

YOUR AUDIO IN COLLIDE 4

Joranalogue & Hainbach certainly made a splash over the weekend with the release of Collide 4. So far all I tested was a quick and rather filthy play through (HERE). But I am working on the usual fulsome in depth demo and for the fun of the community here and for a wider range of sources I'd love to feature YOUR audio and process it through the module.

You can start submitted audio RIGHT NOW so I can process it through Collide 4 and see what weird and wonderful things we get. From distortions to ring modulation and frequency shifting (you're welcome to request what you'd like to hear with the audio) this will be a fun one.

We've done this Patreon Audio thing as nice musical interludes in videos before, you can find examples of it throughout the DYNAMICENGINE and Chorus 6 videos for examples.

You can message me links through Discord, or email me at ben@divkidvideo.com with the subject COLLIDE 4 SUBMISSION, audio files need to be wav format, 48kHz and 16 or 24 bit. Anything outside of those specs won't be used. I need to know your name or user/artist name you want to be used as credit for your audio on screen too.

As always any questions just ask, here in the comments or in Discord. Like Featured Systems for now there's no set deadline, however ... things will move quickly into this demo video so please get started ASAP and watch out for a (probably tight) deadline/turn around coming in the near future.
