Hello!

Like a big fat smack in the face, here's a 42HP slab of quad delay with the new Samarkanda from XAOC Devices. Most of you will know I LOVE a delay and this one offering 4 channels of flexible, patchable delay has me really excited. Despite packing in plenty into my 3 PATCHES video for it I feel there's loads left to explore here too.

Video above or HERE on YouTube and nicely Tom Churchill and I have a little audio swap collaboration going on. Tom has a video HERE which features audio I sent him that he's used for his demo and I have audio from Tom that he sent me for my video. Cool idea I thought, I do enjoy a collab like the Patreon Community Audio stuff we do, thanks Tom for being up for that!

In other news the interview with Allan from AJH went well, I'm currently editing that and will be filming patches based largely on the MiniMod system for a video celebrating 10 years since it's release and beyond that there's lots to come in the coming weeks that I'll talk about soon.

For community activities, don't forget that FEATURED SYSTEMS is open for submissions in the Discord channel (#featured-systems), if you have questions about that feel free to comment and ask here.

Thanks as always for the support, and as usual see you in the Discord! Question of the day, would you rather and the usual chatter all incoming.

a Powerhouse of Eurorack Delay & Looping // 3 Patches with Samarkanda from XAOC Devices

Here’s Samarkanda from XAOC Devices which is a real powerhouse, monster (insert other big buzz words) delay and looper in a whopping 42hp Eurorack module. Each channel offers from 0.5ms up to 15 seconds of delay or looping, with various behaviours, reverse options, lots of CV modulation and you have options to link channels to extend up to 60 seconds of buffer time. Whether working in quad series or parallel chains, create ping pongs, short delay chorus, flanger or karplus strong pitch tracking resonators there’s truly LOADS of ways to use this. I have a fun collaboration in this video with Tom Churchill. I sent him some audio to process with Samarkanda for his demo video and he sent me some for this video. Check out Tom’s look at the module and see what he did with what I sent him here // https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0ga_TrupqY Samarkanda manual, website etc // http://xaocdevices.com/main/samarkanda/ *SUPPORT //* If you'd like to support work like this and the wider range of what I do, considering heading over to Patreon at https://bit.ly/DK-patreon and supporting for as little as $1 a month to gain access to the DivKid Discord community, plus lots of exclusives such as PDF patchbooks, videos and more. https://bit.ly/DK-patreon *AFFILIATE LINKS //* use these to support my channel! Mouthwatering…I want something like this for more delay lines on my hexaphonic guitar rig!
