Hello,

back once again for the renegade master ... presuming the renegade master is updates on synths, discount codes and new videos.

So three things in this update, there's many updates to come and new bits but I'm trying to space them out and not get into either bloating the posts too much or posting multiple days in a row and flooding your inbox.

VAMP

Coming up next Thursday the 16th of October at 8pm UK/BST I'll have a video premiere for the new tube filter VAMP from Apollo View. I appreciate this is early notice (it's a week today) but I know many of you like to join those premieres, watch along as community and chat throughout, there's no link yet but on my YouTube channel and I'll share more as we get closer.

For those following Apollo View or myself on Instagram there's teasers going up from now. Some of you saw the new module at the Machina Bristronica DivKid Discussions sessions, at the Apollo View booth or in the DIY sessions were a limited set of Vamp kits were available. It was a great experience for seeing people blown away by the sound of it, multiple people came up to tell me how good it was afterwards and as I'm working on the video for it right now, I have to agree.

DISCOUNT CODES!!

PERFECT CIRCUIT

A while back Perfect Circuit contacted me to say they'd seen out of the ordinary usage of the DivKid discount code exclusive to Patreon supporters (exclusives kick in at the $5+ tier) as well as finding it shared publicly. So they killed the code. Booooo to the whole thing - this is why we can't have nice things, as was pointed out in our Discord.

But they're up for giving us another code on the proviso I give you a virtual slap on the back of the hand and request you keep this private and exclusive for Patreon supporters. I can't control what you do obviously, but I'd very much like for this community to benefit from such offers. So please don't spoil it again.

Oooooh I had a weird spine tingle then as if I was back working in a school having to bring some discipline to proceedings! haha. Funny.

So the Perfect Circuit discount code is back on the exclusive post with all other discount codes which you will find HERE. You need to be a $5+ tier supporter to access that post.

ANALOGUE HAVEN

Thanks to Darklord (who you may remember did a load of work on the Tap-O-Matic project) who was ordering from and discussing things with Shawn at Analogue Haven we now have a code you can use for Analogue Haven too.

Analogue Haven will always hold a special place in my heart, they were pivotal in so many early Eurorack companies journeys and Shawn very kindly held back a Mutable Instruments Braids for me when it was released in 2013. I didn't have any sort of profile in the modular space then, so it wasn't a favour to me specially beyond him being kind enough to do so. I was over in LA on a trip and was lucky to be able to grab that from their then LA warehouse location in person right by Santa Monica beach. The Analogue Haven discount code is also on the discount codes post HERE.

As a reminder there's a channel on the DivKid Discord #exclusives-and-links you'll find a link to the discount codes, videos etc there. That's an easier way of getting to things than searching these posts. If that's not laid out clearly do let me know.

The UDO DMNO

Here's the first DivKid Discussions stage video from Machina Bristronica 2025 and it's the UDO session. Cuckoo was with UDO and had spent a little time with them and their new synth prior to the event so he joined us on stage and we chat DMNO, concepts, hear the instrument, find what's not currently working, discuss the difficulties of addressing multiple polyphonic voices creatively and how that might not lead to interesting results. Check out the video above or HERE.

Lots more Machina Bristronica videos to come from the DivKid Discussions stage and a general event video from my trip.

That's it for now, thanks as always for your support, it really does make all the difference in keeping things going and it means so much to us. Have a great rest of the week and I'll chat to you in the Discord.

Any questions leave a comment and I'll get back to you. Ta!

DMNO UDO's Raw & Chaotic Binaural Multitimbral Polysynth // Machina Bristronica DivKid Discussions

Here we have the UDO session on the DivKid Discussions stage from Machina Bristronica 2025. Cuckoo had spend some time with UDO and joined George and I for the chat discussing the new DMNO. DMNO is a binaural, multitimbral, polyphonic synthesiser that's far more raw and chaotic with lots of studio utility compared to the other UDO instruments. It's always a pleasure to chat to George and see hm play his instruments so enjoy the conversation! Wal RtB Studios

A few weeks back, after leaving a post on a ModWiggler thread, I was stunned to be contacted by Shawn at Analogue Haven offering to sell me the hard-to-find module under discussion. And just last week, having again posted on ModWiggler (about the Seaside Modular Proteus I had so enjoyed jamming with at Bristronica), he contacted me again with news about the module’s availability and the sale they’re having. That’s what I call a great service. Analogue Haven: highly recommended!
