So earlier this week I hit 808 dollars here on Patreon and as an electronic music milestone number I thought I make this post.

It's basically a huge THANK YOU for helping me reach this $800 goal here on Patreon. I'm currently trying to think through lots of little goals that we can keep hitting as things grow together. Putting in the amount of time it takes to make high quality modular demos regularly isn't easy and I'd love to be able to keep doing it. Reaching this goal is a big step towards future proofing that dedication of time. Future goals will allow me to further explore new ideas, upgrade equipment and take things next level (I have ideas, feel free to comment with your ideas / feedback too).

For those on Facebook I've made a new private group for us all. Do let me know if you'd like to join that, I'm hoping it inspires more of us to talk and get conversational in a nice private focussed group. Links below.

Email: dvkidpatreonsupporters@groups.facebook.comEmails sent to this address will appear as posts in the group.

Finally ... the new monthly live chats are happening! After making a poll for you all a short while ago it seems Sunday evenings (UK/GMT time) are best. So the first one will be Sunday the 5th of November at 8pm UK time. Edward Ball might be joining us to discuss FX both pedals and modular (all to be used with Modular). If anyone wants to join the video chat let me know, for everyone else we'll have a YouTube live link where you can sign in and comment in real time. The video will also be saved and uploaded exclusively for you guys too.

The facebook group link does not seem to work. It says either the link is expired or I don‘t have the permission to open it.

First of all Congrats! And great ideas! Looking forward to see this grow. And +100 keeping the FB group private. There's a bunch of great groups but there are also a number that are, shall I say, infested with (I'll keep it polite) nonsense. Lets hope we keep this full of geekiness and the occasional bit of fun. Oh and offcourse questions, answers and honest opinions. And maybe we'll talk synths from time to time ;-)

Congratulations Ben! A true pillar of of community and and all round good guy.

Please add me to the group! The link didn't work for me!

Sounds great. Is there a way to get in on the live chat at all without going video? For example, so we might be able to watch the live-stream, and maybe have an open feed for text (like Twitch for example)?

Felix Kröner

what about setting up a dischord channel, so noone would have to register anywhere to be able to join a chat?

Felix Kröner

Its basically something like teamspeak but with a better chat included. You can very easily create a channel within the app and give out a webbrowser link where people can easily join without registering anywhere. So you could simply stream the video via youtube and have the chat going on through discord. Btw: https://discordapp.com/ (I misspelled it before :-) If you like I can send you a link to test with a channel I created, just to see how it´s working out.
