Tube distortion fun, patch hacks & VCA tips // Apollo View Rabbit Hole & Curiouser

Here we’ll explore making the most of distortion, exploiting tubes for interesting behaviours such as sub harmonic tracking as well as explore lots of VCA and mixing tips for things like building crossfaders out of VCAs. We’ll be doing this while demonstrating the new Rabbit Hole and Curiouser modules from Apollo View. Rabbit Hole is a Eurorack VCA summing mixer with multiple drive stages and tone control and Curiouser is a dual vintage VCA that can be used as an input expander or used standalone. I’d like to thank Apollo View for lots of great patch ideas for this video, I’ve been testing this module for some time now and sharing patch ideas, trying out patch ideas and working together to make the most of what a module can do is always a fun process. There’s patch examples and graphics in the manual found at the website linked below. https://bit.ly/apolloview If you’d like to join my amazing community, gain access to exclusive videos, get discounts to partnered stores, PDF booklets and more check out my Patreon at https://bit.ly/DK-patreon You can also support my channel by using these affiliate links to buy your gear.
