Hi all,

hope you're good. First up I posted yesterday to let you know I have a new video coming on Thursday and it's a premiere again so you can join us and chat live as the video plays through. It will also reveal a new Eurorack module, it's an FX module and it's really very bloomin' good. That same post had multiple other bits of updates so click HERE to catch up if you missed it.

Onto todays topic a performance from Scanner! Which is from Modular Meets Leeds this year and as always with Robin it's a real masterclass in improvisation and performing with a modular system.

I asked Scanner about this performance and here it is in his own words.

"I used my Submodular Shadow 6U and Empress Zoia pedal in an entirely improvised live performance. I had an idea of how to open the set, with a patch on the Zoai, but from then on in it was a completely wild ride. I enjoy how aspects of the performance seem to appear, without even my knowing what is to follow next. For example I have almost no idea how the dubby section around half-way appeared, and I'd suggest playing the set through some decent speakers to pick up on the low end, which was literally shaking the bones of the spectators at the time.

With such improvised performances, I like that the audience and I are experiencing this sense of discovery and revelation at the very same time."

I hope you enjoy the performance, it's a pleasure to be able to share other peoples music and performances alongside my own videos, I'm forever grateful for that opportunity. I also need to thank team Instruo who recorded this (among other event videos) at Modular Meets Leeds. So thanks to them!

Video details copied below, more to come later this week. Cheers all!

Wow… the last time I was home I managed to get to modular meets Leeds. I wish we had something like this in Canada… that was 2016… time flies
