Updates and what's coming up (Patreon)

Hi all,

hope you're well. There's all sorts to get to so I'll title it all out and lets get into it!

There's a lot to soak in but I'd love your input on few things, so read ahead and let me know in the comments on this post too.

A brief pause

I'm taking a week or so break with family from today. So things will be a little quiet around here (more noticeable in Discord where we're most active). I just wanted to give you a heads up.

The next video

Coming up next will be a video (it's well underway, I've had some amazing results from it) on the Wobbler2 from This Is Not Rocket Science. The wobbly wobbling LFO of Wobbler v1 has turned drum voice! An interest concept with lots of nice unique twists thrown in (to both LFO and drum sides).

Future videos

There's lots of other videos to get to and lots of ideas brewing for the future too. But I'd like to know in the comments what videos you'd most like to see. Once I'm back I'll be working through the most pressing things but also planning for the near future too.

As a slight extension to this ... I imagine many of you saw that I couldn't go to Superbooth, but for those that went and the rest of us watching from home ... What would you like to see make a video on that you saw launched at Superbooth? Did you see anything/anyone you'd like to chat to? We can look to have them on a Patreon hangout over in Discord soon for a Q&A and general chat.

Video highlights

Over on Twitter I post daily (well nearly daily) sharing a link to an old video. To be honest that's 99.9% of what I use the platform for. I like the idea of a sort of highlights feed as I've well over 1000 videos on the channel now so lots to go back through and pull some patch ideas from.

Would you like that to be a featured in Discord? Maybe sharing the same link each day in the channel #discuss-divkid-videos (with or without tagging @everyone, we can discuss and decide that together - as we have a fair few @everyone tags and activities so that might be a bit much). If so let me know, again in the comments below.

The next exclusive video

Yesterday I shared the exclusive uncut version of the "all the percs" patch from the SSF Ultra Perc video.

I have videos done and ready to go on a Generative Krell patch back from the Instruo tagh video and also a new one from the Making Sound Machines "Taste The Analog Rainbow" with the FARB modules. More to come too, so we'll have a new poll for what you want next soon. If there's anything specific you're waiting on, again leave a comment here.

Featured Systems

This has been a wonderful addition to the community and each week it's been a pleasure to share your systems and then more importantly see the discussions unfold in Discord. However it feels like engagement has dropped, what's happened? Is this something you still like to see? Are you waiting on a new submissions window to share your system into the mix? Head over to Discord and the channel #featured-systems and get involved in the chat, they've been great and I hope they continue to be a nice active part of our community.

That's it for now, all the best and I'll be back soon and as usual (although less for this coming week) I'll see you in the Discord!
