Top secret location REVEALED!!!!! (hangout info) (Patreon)

skip the waffle and get to the meat and tatties ... This Saturday (the 19th of August) at 8pm we'll have our next hangout in Discord. This will be live following the Instruo premiere of their new documentary film about Superbooth. Read on below.

Lets get straight into the clickbait silliness, in my last post I talked about holding a hangout live from a top secret location ... well it was only a secret as I played into the silliness of that (for my own and hopefully your amusement).

Later this week I'll be heading up across the border to the land of shortbreads and IRN BRU (seriously grab that new 1901 glass bottle if you see it it's lovely) as I'll be heading up to see Instruo in Glasgow (Scotland).

I'll be up in Glasgow with Instruo for something special, but there's also another something special happening that I can talk about (the former I can't). This coming Saturday (the 19th of August, at 7pm UK time) Instruo will premiere their new documentary film about their journey to Superbooth this year. Following the premiere at 8pm UK time we'll have our latest hangout over in Discord. Be there with us!

I'll be live from Instruo HQ with Jason and the team. As usual you can join just to listen or chat over audio or video with us. Scroll down past the Discord text channels to the video chat at 8pm, this Saturday to join. The premiere is roughly 45 minutes long so join the YouTube premiere first, take 15 mins for refreshments and comfort breaks and then head into Discord to hang out, ask questions and chat away. 

UPDATES // OTHER THINGS TO COME

Just to add a general update to the post, I've just got back from a nice family break over on the east coast of England. Sea and sand (not that I went on or in those this time) and the wind in my (heavily reducing from my head) hair is always great and refreshing. I hope you've had a break this summer too, if not, take one (however small and wherever that is), you deserve it! 

While driving out to the east coast we passed an open field of cows which seem to take great pleasure in trying to get into Beverly Racecourse and to run across the road in front of cars between their field and the racecourse opposite. The kids loved it, other drivers seemingly not so much.

KNOBCON // The next post will be one we've spoke about in the Discord community for a while now which is the big DivKid Patreon Knobcon Post! (someone find a funny/silly/better title for that). Basically I'm going to want your input about all things Knobcon. We'll be having a Patreon meet up so I'll make a poll for those that can come to highlight when would be best day/time for them to meet up. That way we can arrange a Patreon meet up and hangout in person. I'd also love to get your input on what video you'd like to see from me. Companies/makers you want me to chat to, products you want to check out etc. Let's save all that for another post though, but get thinking.

NEW DIVKID MODULES // yes this is a plural (moduleS) as multiple are in the works. I realise this is a tease but I've been working on several ideas for some time now and some really exciting progress is happening with the people I'm collaborating with. Including a mix of existing DivKid collab brands and new brands too. Soon as I can share more I will, but I just wanted to say that's where a lot of time and energy has gone lately. We'll see the fruits of some of this before the year is out.

NEW VIDEOS // I have plenty to get to here and lots of planning going on for scheduling out what's to come in the near future and further out into the back end of the year. Lots to come! In the meantime I have some things to film and finish here and also a big video on what I think is a bit of a modern classic of the semi modular synth world.

SELF PATCHED // I've mentioned this one a few times but my one-module-challenge come feedback patching exploratory series of videos is making a comeback for a new series this year. Take a look at the original playlist and let me know what module(s) you'd like to see used this way. I'll make a specific post soon but feel free to comment here with your requests.
