Patreon Hangout, Featured Systems and the next 2 videos (Patreon)

Hello,

hope you're well. A few things to update on so I'll get right to it.

PATREON HANGOUT

Tomorrow, our own community member Jon-Mark of Apollo View is releasing 2 new Eurorack modules. One of them has a 'DivKid Requested Featured' (i.e. I had an idea that I asked to be implemented, and he added that nicely) which I'm excited for. Not to overhype it (it won't wash your clothes and do the dishes), it's something I've not seen on this sort of module before. I'll have a video on the module(s) (more on that below).

The reason for mentioning the new Apollo View modules is that Jon-Mark will join us this coming Sunday (17th December 2023) at 8pm UK/GMT over in our Discord for our next Patreon Hangout. As always this will be an open, inclusive and friendly casual hangout where you can listen along to the conversation, ask questions or get involved with video and/or audio on the call.

This will likely be the final hangout of 2023, we'd love to have you join if you can.

FEATURED SYSTEMS

As of today the #featured-systems channel on Discord is open to submissions from both new users who haven't submitted before and from existing users who have submitted and would like to update their set up pictures and even users who have been featured before. Basically, anyone.

Want to send in an image (or more) of your set up? Go into the DivKid Discord, head to the #featured-systems channel and upload at least one picture of your set up. Added modular grid links, descriptions etc are all welcome too or can be added later when you're featured.

PLEASE DO NOT DISCUSS SUBMISSIONS AS THEY ARE HAPPENING. Wait until we kick off a new series of system posts, I'll let you know when that's happening and give notice when the submissions window is going to close.

NEXT 2 VIDEOS

First up, tomorrow! The new Apollo View modules will be out as will my video and with the support of Jon-Mark I've gone all out for the video, making this one a really general patching tips type videos so I hope there's lots in this for everyone to make the most of. Excited to share it.

Then Thursday (the 14th) I'll have a short play around on something new that's coming while also announcing something new for me and the channel in the new year.

That's it for now, see you with the new video tomorrow, mentioned Patreon Exclusive videos (for $5+ tier supporters, jump onto that tier to gain access!) from recent videos will be coming very soon.

See you in Discord!
