I probably won't post again until after valentines day so I hope you guys have a happy valentines day this weekend :) no matter if you're spending it alone or with others, eat something sweet and do something fun this weekend anyway!

Next week, I'll be doing another frieren drawing and another Aki drawing! I had a lot of fun drawing Aki this week so I think I need to keep riding that high and churn out some more art of her lol.

I think the color is good enough, yes. Frieren will always be my favorite. Finally saw Endless Scarlet last night, and I thought it was average. Definitely not boring like Japan kept saying. The whole movie was her being in the Land of The Dead, trying to avenge her father, and being interrupted by her uncle’s minions. I hated how she kept being knocked down by guys twice her size and nearly dying, if not for her love interest, Hijiri, a guy from modern day Japan. Weird story choices though. His first appearance, he watched her struggle with a big guy trying to kill her, before actually firing an arrow. The only time travel scene was when she heard 「祝祭のうた」 (Song of Celebration), which is on Spotify, and my latest song I’ll loop over and over. That scene, and a couple of others, like when she climbed these golden steps and saw the ocean/beach, were the only times I felt like crying, cause it was just beautiful. There was also this cool rock/sword dragon. I think it probably would have been more well received as a movie if Studio Ghibli had wrote the script, because there was some interesting lore. There is zero Rule34 of her, unless someone posted it exclusively on Twitter, and no real art of her, so I’m going to be her fan like Virgin Punk’s Ubu.
