Ryan has a pretty lame nickname... why? because he thinks nicknames shouldn't be fancy things to be feared... but useful and pretty obvious things. Like, who am I? A Shooter, that's what you will call me because that's what I am!

Anyway,  He’s an archer, because we had to have one. Ryan is the colonel, and the one responsible for turning this small rebel group of vigilantes (alongside Ghafira) into insurgents. He lost his wife to the militia long time ago during a raid.  Just like Serge, he despises Scarlets and highly disapproves of the friendship both Camille and Spark have with Bretta. Camille has repeatedly told him to mind his own business in a vast variety of ways, all as profane and insulting as the last one.

He is a very good shoot. He’s calm, and he prioritizes his team’s safety over the mission’s success, smth that generates a lot of trouble btw him, serge and Ghafira, his commander.

He chose Camille over Serge as his second in command for a series of reasons. One, She might be headstrong, but she can think calmly under pressure, which he believes to be a key quality in a leader. Two, even if Bree's talent is very promising, she still lacks the experience of her savvy sister, She's not only a very good mechanic but has helped improve and provide most of the weaponry and gear they all use. She knows each of their vantages and disadvantages and can use that information. Three, he might or might not have a crush on her. Everyone knows, including Camille, but she feigns ignorance because the alternative would hinder the team's dynamics. 

He believes that he can truly make his country free again, and he’s willing to die for it.
