Mermay 11 - Stuffed Cone Snail (Patreon)

Cone snails and Lion fish are btw the most poisonous/venomous & beautiful animals in the ocean. Lion Fish’s dorsal spines are the ones who contain their toxins, while the cone snail shoots an arpoon, soo quickly that it needs to be captured in slow motion camera. Both hardly have any predators!

That’s why, due to the aquarium craze, a lot of ppl have flushed their aquarium lion fishies bcs they have a ravenous appetite and tend to eat other fishies in their enclosures; ending up in the golf of Mexico, where they have been decimating the wildlife due to the lack of a predator. Please, if u like an animal, pleade make all the research necessary before purchasing it, because your miscalculation can have grave impact on the environment.
