Pride started as a riot against police brutality and unjust raids on LGBTQ+ establishments on June 28 1969. Yes, there has been progress but there’s still a long way to go, people are still suffering from intolerance and abuse, sometimes even with their lifes, specially in Mexico. We’re all waiting for that day when this is in the past and people will not have to come out. Be proud and be safe.
