About my Hijab Witch... (Patreon)

 You know what guys? It made me so sad when smb sent me a DM thanking me for making a witch with a Hijab cause they had never seen one.  Like, I was so hesitant to draw it, cause I had to like look at tons of refs to make the hijab kinda work; and then like I combed a few articles about hijab-wearing, just to make sure I got like everything right. Also to make sure it wasn't like, bad to draw a witch with a hijab, mostly cause idk anything about the culture nor the religions that practice Hijab-wearing and I didn't want to offend anyone.

But that DM brought me back to those times when I wondered why the people I saw in movies didn't look like me, and it's a heartbreaking experience. So I will draw more Hijab wearing witches because ppl deserve to see themselves as witches!! 

 Also! if anyone familiar with Hijab wearing or religious practices that use them, I would greatly appreciate if you could share your knowledge with me. I wish to do the best job i can, but that can only happen if i get some research done <3 thanks everyone <3 have a cute day
