01 Baby Owlets AU: if not owlet, why owlet shaped (Patreon)

In a very very different Talon Dick AU. Imagine,  Dick Grayson was stolen from juvie, as it was intended, and became the Gray Son. Was a good Talon for years, until he was tasked to kill the heir of the League of Shadows, a powerful organization that treathened the Court. Obedient as always he went, but what he found was not one heir, but two kids. One recovering from sever injuries, the other a toddler. What he also found was both kids being subject to horribly cruel training, just like had been, and frequent Lazarus Pit dips to compensate for the lack of electrum on their veins. it felt wrong. the baby Dick inside of him did not want them to suffer like he did.  The owlets must be kept safe. His owlets. So he steals both kids, and is now on the run from the League and the court The biggest owlet says the Bat Man can help. Gray Son doubts it, but will listen to his owlets if that makes them happy.

I want you all to imagine the POSSIBILITIES! Jason is still recovering, but okay-ish cause Timmers is not Robin yet, thus he still doesn't have a vendetta against Bruce. Jason being a lil shit and suggests Bruce and Dick to go on dates to know each other better, "since you're both caring for us now" (ofc is not cause Bruce keeps making puppy eyes at Dick nuh uh) TALON DICK & Bruce going on ice cream parlor dates! Timmy being the one who finds out the Talon that is stalking the bat has his robin, and he's alive! He wants to see robin to be sure, Dickie discovering this very scrawny clearly neglected baby following him in the dangerous court-riddled streets and going MINE. So, taking another owlet.  i have IDEAS also the angst of Dickie actually offing the Joker, and all the tension that will cause with Bruce.
