Happy 2024 (Patreon)

Let’s say welcome to 2024 and say Happy new dragon year!! As a mexican i was hella excited to draw our own “dragon” quetzalcoatl with my batkids 🥺so yeah! Yes, also in my personal opinion the kids need a bit more melanin in their bodies 👀 no shame dc but like how can u deprive us of the joy that would’ve been latin jason Todd following the spitfire of romani dick Grayson then to have lil baby Tim drake (who idc what u think he’s def asian) followed by a very latin Stephanie brown (no way there’s no latin roots in that girl i could write essays!!!) and, ofc we know they constantly try to whitewash #damianwayne from his middle eastern and asian roots😤 I really hope this is the year the stop using Cassandra Cain and Duke Thomas as the token poc characters 😤 also i will never forgive them for scrapping batgirl and depriving us from poc Barbara Gordon ! So this is me starting 2024 with good vibes 💜 and shoving my hcs down everyone’s throat 😂

Of course our mythos is quite different to the Chinese one, but since our designs have always been “similar” (at least compared to european ones?) it has always felt like a vague connection 💜
