The training we have for this week that I have shared with you was about the UserForm Builder Addin. If you have not seen it yet, you can view it right here on YouTube.Now that the training has been released, I am looking for your feedback to make this even better, just for you, our incredible Patreon Members.

So, what Feature can I add for you? Did you find an issue you want me to fix? Or is there a particular area you would like me to focus on?

Hello sir First I want to ask you if there is anything you can't do in Excel? ... With this latest version of the UserForm Builder Addin, I (meaning you) managed to create a user form almost perfect for my needs. Could you make this User Form created for the Sheet1 page accessible from the Sheet2 page, or from any other Sheet?

Hi Costi, thanks so much and I am really glad you enjoyed the addin and training. I will try to do that however its quite different from the concept as we focus on the 'ActiveSheet' a lot in the code. For sure its possible, there is no doubt about that, the only question is do I have enough time to make that change :) You will be happy to hear I am adding an automated date picker with customizable date format for all date fields in the userform, plus a few other great features as well. Randy, I did the whole trust thing and changed the properties - and I still am getting a popup that says "Failed to access worksheet module: Ensure 'Trust access to the VBA project object model' is enabled in Trust Center settings. - Which I've done. Not sure what I've done to get this notice. Also, my data has the headers with first name, last name, address. And they all show when i click userForm Builder, however, when I click on create - the last name contains the address details and there isn't an address area.

Hi Jo thanks for the message. This could have something to do with a formula or another row that is not being recognized. Is it possible to adjust the code in such a way that "very hidden" columns do not show up in the userform. Grtz Antonie

Hi and thanks very much. Yes it is possible. In the loop that loops through the column initially you can check with something like this If .Cells(HeadRow, DataCol).visible = false then goto NextCol (That is not the exact code however something like that would work) I hope this helps and thanks so much.

This UserForm is great; two questions 1. Can the UserForm display a picture? I have a field with a picture (.jpg) file name - is it possible to add a field for the default path to the pictures for the Form to display? 2. For Tables with advanced filter fields on the same row and header fields, how can errors be prevented when building the form? For example, Row 6 has header field names (columns C-Z), and Row 6 (columns AX:AY) also has the advanced filter criteria. The form builder will give an error because the last header column is not found. [I wonder if it is possible to start a search in the first header field C6, search from left to right 'the next two fields' to see if two blanks are encountered; if so, default the last header column. - the two-blank field pattern will allow users to a single blank header field, if desired]

Hi and thanks so much. I am glad you liked the training. A picture field could most likely be added as a type, however the size and positioning could be tricky with the other fields. Concerning the header field. If this row is not detected automatically, you always have the option to set this row manually. While the VBA does its best to figure out what the header row is, it is still sometimes difficult. However if the data is in a table, and assuming you have just one table on the sheet, the vba could find out the header row using the table properties. Also on the update on Monday i have automatically added a Date Picker for all date fields, sorted drop down lists, custom date formatting, and a bunch of other features. hello, i was wondering if i could pull in my own list of names for the name drop down list by updating the rowsource on the userform?

Hi and thanks so much. Yes, please make sure to watch the entire training video as well. I did discuss this in both the initial and updated training. When you add your own name to the list, it then becomes available the next time the list is visited because the unique values are updated each and every time. I hope this helps and thanks so much.
