Hello Members,

The training we have for this week that I have shared with you was about the Construction Management System. If you have not seen it yet, you can view it right here on YouTube. Now that the training has been released, I am looking for your feedback to make this even better, just for you, our incredible Patreon Members.

So, what Feature can I add for you? Did you find an issue you want me to fix? Or is there a particular area you would like me to focus on?

Please comment your ideas and feedback to any  of these below and I will do my best to not only create an updated workbook but release a private training video next Monday, right here on Patreon.

I am looking forward to hearing from you and thanks so much for your support.

Regards,Randy

Hi Randy, Thank you for releasing the Construction Management System and the in-depth training video — it’s already proving incredibly useful for managing our projects. After going through the dashboard and entry modules, I’d love to suggest a few additional modules that I believe would make the system even more powerful and complete for construction businesses like mine: 1. Subcontractor & Site Crew Manager – To track subcontractor contracts, daily labor hire, payments, and job assignments across different projects. 2. Work Progress Tracker – A Gantt-style or stage-based module that tracks progress, materials used, crew on site, and completion dates per project stage. 3. Procurement & Material Delivery Schedule – To plan, approve, and track orders for materials per job, including delivery timelines and inventory received at site. 4. Asset & Tool Assignment Log – A simple module that lets us assign tools, machines, and assets to projects and site supervisors, with tracking for return dates and condition. 5. Site Inspection & Safety Checklist Log – A form-based entry sheet to log daily inspections, safety compliance, and site incident records, ideal for reporting and audits. 6. Field Supervisor Report Form – A mobile-friendly or printable sheet where supervisors can enter daily site activity summaries, weather delays, issues, and crew attendance. I’d also love it if the new modules could smoothly integrate with the existing ERP system through shared databases so the dashboards reflect live activity across jobs, teams, and financials. Looking forward to any updates you decide to include in the next version — and thank you again for creating such a practical, visually impressive system that’s already improving how we work. Best regards, Edward Heni (MD)

Hi Randy, Thank you for sharing the Construction Management System. I’d like to propose adding a Budget vs. Expense tracker that stays synchronized with the project schedule. Here’s how it could work: 1. Set the Project Budget Up Front - Define and lock in the total projected budget at project kickoff (typically before the design phase). 2 . Estimate Each Phase Budget - For every project stage (e.g., design), calculate its budget by combining the estimated cost of that phase with its scheduled timeframe (for example, January–March for Q1). 3. Track Ongoing Expenses - At any point during a phase, determine the remaining budget by subtracting actual expenses to date from the phase’s projected budget. 4. Capture Actuals on Completion - When a phase ends, record the actual phase budget by comparing the original projection against total expenses incurred. 5. Repeat for Every Phase - Apply the same process—forecast, track, and reconcile—for each successive phase to ensure budget alignment with the evolving schedule for the overall project. This feature would give us real-time visibility into budget performance and help keep costs on track as the project progresses. Best Regards, Desmond

Hi Desmond, thanks so much for the additional ideas and features. These are all excellent ideas. its actually enough for an entirely new training which I will try to get to in the near future, and one that focuses on Projects and budget for contractors which includes both projection and forecasting. Thanks again for your continued support
