Hello Members,

The training we have for this week that I have shared with you was about the Amazing Automated Receipt Capture. If you have not seen it yet, you can view it right here on YouTube.

Now that the training has been released, I am looking for your feedback to make this even better, just for you, our incredible Patreon Members.

So, what Feature can I add for you? Did you find an issue you want me to fix? Or is there a particular area you would like me to focus on?

Please comment your ideas and feedback to any of these below and I will do my best to not only create an updated workbook, but release a private training video next Monday, right here on Patreon.

I am looking forward to hearing from you and thanks so much for your support.

Regards,Randy

Angel

Hey Randy do you think we can do this through the Camscaner app?

Excel For Freelancers

Hi Angel, thanks so much. This is a very similar solution. If you take a picture of any receipt and it goes to your dropbox folder, it will work fine using my solution. Also on the Patreon update on Monday I have even more great features. Thanks again for your continued support

Can it auto rename the receipt by date, amount, vendor?

Excel For Freelancers

Hi Dawn, thanks for your comment. The data is very flexible and can be worked, however the receipt itself is a picture, so i am not sure how that could be renamed. Perhaps you can share more details on that?

Dawn Peppard

Just the file name of the receipt to match. I scan in receipts and spend more time re-naming each file, and…is it possible to add the credit card statement in and have it cross referenced with the receipts and match them? Mark them with a check mark or something. That would save a ton of time

Excel For Freelancers

Oh yes to make the file-name dynamic for sure. Inside Make, when it comes to moving the file, you would use a mapped file name and that can be the vendor, combined with a date, or anything else. Sure that is a nice idea
