Hello, my friends, great to have you here as a Silver Member. This week's training is on the General Ledger.

In this training, you’ll learn how to build a complete General Ledger in Excel using VBA that automatically saves transactions, validates debit and credit entries, and updates all related tables in real time. You’ll see how to create a full Chart of Accounts, design a dynamic ledger with compound credit handling, and develop a multi-page tabbed UserForm for smooth navigation. This step-by-step session also covers input validation, “Off-By” error checks, and optimized macros for accurate, fast, and fully customizable accounting management inside Excel.

▶️ Feel free to watch the full training video when it goes live on YouTube here.

As a Silver Member, you can also participate in our Feature, Fix or Focus Program, in which each week I will add a feature, fix an issue, or focus on a specific part of the current week’s training. This Feature, Fix, or Focus will be entirely based on your requests and ideas in the comments below. Based on those suggestions, I will then create another short video, along with an updated workbook and make them available exclusively to you, right here on Patreon. I look forward to reading your comments below.

👉 Make sure you download the workbook, PDF codebook, and the training resources in the files below.

I would love to hear your feedback, ideas, and suggestions on any upcoming videos as well, so make sure to comment below as I read every comment.

I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you enjoy the training. Thank you.

Good looking ledger!! Could we add some features to it? For instance, the Date - could it be auto filled with todays date, and include your date picker module. Then, on the Payee/Payor - could it be a drop down or smart typing fill in/ Then, in the Type - can we add like an ACH type of payment type. Then, because there's not enough to do in a day...can we include where the 'payment' is coming from? Like a Chart of Accounts (Checking Account - Operations) then have the listing of the COA account totals, etc
