Hello, my friends, great to have you here as a Silver Member. This week's training is on the Business In A Box.

In this training, you’ll learn how to build a complete Business In A Box entirely inside a single Excel workbook. We’ll start from a completely empty file and create a full system for quotes, invoices, purchases, expenses, payments, names management, and inventory—then tie everything together with a live interactive dashboard. You’ll see each feature built step-by-step, including natural-language scheduling, full transaction tracking, and dynamic customer, vendor, and employee management, giving you a fully functional business platform built right inside Excel.

▶️ Feel free to watch the full training video when it goes live on YouTube here.

As a Silver Member, you can also participate in our Feature, Fix or Focus Program, in which each week I will add a feature, fix an issue, or focus on a specific part of the current week’s training. This Feature, Fix, or Focus will be entirely based on your requests and ideas in the comments below. Based on those suggestions, I will then create another short video, along with an updated workbook and make them available exclusively to you, right here on Patreon. I look forward to reading your comments below.

👉 Make sure you download the workbook, PDF codebook, and the training resources in the files below.

I would love to hear your feedback, ideas, and suggestions on any upcoming videos as well, so make sure to comment below as I read every comment.

I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you enjoy the training. Thank you.

Oswaldo

Is there any way of joining the BOM ( bakery) with buissnes in a box?

Excel For Freelancers

Hi Oswaldo, thanks very much for you comment. This can be done by adding additional databases for both BOM's and BOM items to tie together. Its a good amount of work but can be done. If this is something you need as a custom job I can refer it out or perhaps I can combine them into a future training. Thanks again for your continued support

Hello, For the fix and focus can we add Email feature? It will be good if one could email his quotation to customers or purchasing order to suppliers. Thanks 🙏

Chris Munzke

Hi Randy, again a perfekt Training, top Job!!! Thanks so much.I have a few suggestions and requests(more wishes): Could you add per-line item and/or total discount options to quotes and orders? This is common practice in Europe. Also, could you add items for freight/shipping and packaging, please? How does the "Business in the Box" handle returns of goods? (Inventory levels, etc.)? And Is there a way to specify validity periods for sales prices, so that the correct prices (like in a price list, e.g., 2025, 2026) are automatically applied at the end of the year, (automatically at the end of the year/upon a specific date?)? ...I know these are big requests, sorry!

Excel For Freelancers

Hi Chris, thanks for your suggestion. I did this recording on Saturday so sorry I was not able to get to these suggestions. However, with that said I have now added 'Order Status' in the update so that it can help with this. Orders which are returned should have their Qty adjusted (if all items are returned this can go to 0) As far as the Date-based price lists, it's an interesting idea and something I should highlight in a training in the near future since i have not addressed this in previous trainings.

Hi and thanks very much. I have done the recording already however I will try to squeeze in this feature if time allows. Thanks again for your support Gaetan
