Hello Members!

In this week’s Feature, Fix or Focus we take last week’s Dynamic Skills Matrix training and I added a feature on how to check for duplicate employees when adding teams which is requested by Robert Burton. I also added features like setting hours on a per-project and per-employee basis and how to save before generating staff.  I am sure you will really enjoy this.   Please don’t forget to add your requests for your own Feature, Fix or Focus each week when I post a new video, right here on Patreon. Each week I will either add a new feature, fix a bug or an issue, or create another training with a special focus on any part, all based on your feedback and comments.

Make sure to view the brand new and updated training and download the updated workbook in the attachments below.   As always, great to have you here, and thanks so much for your support.

Thanks Randy.. Appreciate the tutorial on how to check for duplicates! I probably would have tried a much harder way!

Hi Randy. I really like this and keep having a dive in to see how it all works. I was looking for a way to get in touch to ask if you ever made a skills matrix that wasn’t tied to projects. Basically, a skills matrix purely on employee name and the skills / training they have done? Thanks for all your great work by the way.

Thanks so much Martin, This is the only one I have on skills however you can just customize this and remove the project aspect, Also look to the RACI Matrix which may also help a bit. Thanks again

I'm new here and I'm trying to make changes to this template to fit my workplace. However, when I delete all the projects, it spits out an error message. I ignored the message as I don't know how to debug, but now when I try to make a new project and add an employee to the project, I get several random employees added all at once. I am not too sure how to fix this issue.

Hi Sandy, thanks so much and great to have you here. Sorry you are running into the issue but it would be difficult to understand the error without taking a deep look into it. While I am unable to take on any personal consulting I would be happy to refer you to a qualified developer for help. Please feel free to email me all of the details so I can forward it to them Randy@ExcelForFreelancers.com Thanks so much Randy
