Hello Members!

In this week’s Feature, Fix or Focus, we take last week’s 1-Click Quick View training, and in this update, I fixed a Copy/Paste bug which is noted by Robert Burton and Martin Koss. Martin Koss also suggested a feature in a limited way for the pop-up to display.

Here are the updates I made for this training:

· Fixed Copy/Paste Sheet Bug

· View Icon Pop-up

· Check Empty Column Head

· No pop-up on the empty header

· Record Update

Please don’t forget to add your requests for your own Feature, Fix or Focus each week when I post a new video, right here on Patreon. Each week I will either add a new feature, fix a bug or an issue, or create another training with a special focus on any part, all based on your feedback and comments.

Make sure to view the brand new and updated training and download the updated workbook in the attachments below.

As always, great to have you here, and thanks so much for your support.

Hi Randy, For the most part this works perfectly. However. some of my labels and text boxes, and the close button are pushed to the back and not visible. I can manually move them forward, but it obviously doesn't save. Is there a way to fix that? I tried using ActiveSheet.Shapes("SampleBack").ZOrder msoSendToBack to get it to move the background to the back all the time but it didn't do anything.

Hi Joe, thanks for your comment. The zOrder should work correctly however make sure the zorder is placed after everything else is created. Also you can try the msobringtofront to see if that helps. You may also want to step through the code, line by line, to see where the issues are. I hope this helps and thanks so much.

Robert Burton

Thanks for the update Randy! That's a nice trick on the intellisense... I'll Have to remember that!

Yeah, Randy, I would opt for the other method to secure the textbox. Especially for us who are deploying these applications to clients.

Excel For Freelancers

Yeah that was just for fun. I will find a secure method and release it on YouTube sooner than later :)

Martin Koss

Love what you’ve done with it. Much nicer. Thank you.
