Miguel

Randy, Congrats again for this very useful app. Here are some suggestions for you to consider: 1. The Correspondance Database: Is it possible to track the replys to our sent emails? Is it possible to read in the Document Preview the email when selecting it? The Job Application elements: A Job Application always goes in companion with the Job Description, the Cover Letter and a Resume. A.1 The Job Description: It is importante to provide a field for the Job Description file, so the applicant knows the details of the job he is applying for. Is it also possible, once saved, to view the Job Description into the Document Preview panel? A.2 The app already provide management for Cover letters which is great. A.3 The third element is the Resume. It is very common to have several resumes on file. Can you add funcionality to have several Resumes? The Resumes normally contain historical information about an Executive Summary, previous jobs, education, skills, references, etc. So, if this app can also have a Resume Manager that would be very impressive. Also, if you could see the resume associated to the job yoou are applying in the Document Preview that would be awesome! Finally, most of the Job applications are filled out online. This might be a little off-topic, but an excel app that could fill out web forms would be a life time saver. Since this will depend on the form the company you are applying is using, the app would have to be customized for each job application form, but I can say that 80% of the Job application forms use the same fields and structure. Notes: When testing creating a new job, the list of jobs was not updated in the Tab "Job Info" Thanks for your attention and keep up the good job!

Excel For Freelancers

Hi Miguel, Thanks for the great ideas and feedback Concerning the correspondence database it is certainly possible to track incoming emails. I covered this in my Email Manager series The Job Manager allows for any document to be added to the Job folder and will always stay with that job including resumes, CV's or anything else the user has Also Excel can be used to fill out webforms sometimes using sendkeys or browser objects. Thanks for the feedback on the new Job Info. I will check it out for sure. Thanks again.
