Hello Members!

In this week’s Feature, Fix, or Focus, we take last week’s Work Maintenance Manager training.

Here are the updates I made for this training:

· Schedule & Sort Fix added by Randy Austin

· Holiday Scheduling requested by Larry Duffy

· Days Off On Schedule added by Randy Austin

· Automated Recurring Orders added by Randy Austin

· Added Order Attachments added by Randy Austin

Please don’t forget to add your requests for your own Feature, Fix or Focus each week when I post a new video, right here on Patreon. Each week I will either add a new feature, fix a bug or an issue, or create another training with a special focus on any part, all based on your feedback and comments.

Make sure to view the brand new and updated training and download the updated workbook in the attachments below.

Hi Randy, does this Maintenance Manager has a reminder popout window? if not that will be a good add on feature. Thanks!

Hi Leonel, thanks very much for your comment. This one does not however I do have that on this training https://youtu.be/o1KdIaug6ac I will always try to add in your suggested ideas within 5 days of the original video and training release. Thanks for your continued support

Hi randy came across the product, I think this is exactly what I'm looking for - however, I have a few questions if it can be modified to export and send out the work order via email and test to the employees in the field.

Hello Randy. I might be late here, but can I suggest to add the possibility of one-time non-recurring jobs to your Work Maintenance Manager app?

Miguel

Another idea that I would like to suggest is the development of a "Pagination Macro" to Split the Contents of long lists into content that can be seen without scrolling down.

Excel For Freelancers

HI Miguel thanks so much. That is possible as all that would be needed would be to add a work order without any recurring information

Excel For Freelancers

Thanks Miguel, that is a nice suggestion and will write that down to add to a training in the near future.

Hello Randy, Not sure if you are going to bring more updates on this project, but if you do is it possible to keep the right bar visible without it scroll with the page? its hard to see what category of the dashboard we picked :)

Excel For Freelancers

Hi and thank for the suggestion Ian. There is just one update per template however I will try to address that in a future video. Thanks for your continued support.

Larry Duffie

A question on the updated version, you mentioned being able to drag and drop the shape to different dates and splitting the shape when more than 4 on a date. I am sure that would have been a lot of added work. Did you not have a spreadsheet where we could move something from one date to another like in scheduling?

Excel For Freelancers

Hi Larry, yeah true. I had so many features i wanted to add to this, the Drag & Drop did not make it into the update, however it would be nearly the same as the drag and drop used in the School Manager, Part 14 Scheduler here: https://youtu.be/tal2jSKEOCU I hope this helps and thanks so much.

Larry Duffie

That's the one. Thanks Randy

Quick question, and I still might have not grasp the whole concept. Does the Work Maintenance Manager have like an interface feature, or it's all displayed with the different pages tabs at the bottom within excel?

Excel For Freelancers

Hi Leonel, thanks for the great question. The Work Maintenance Manager uses different sheets for the Scheduling, Admin, Dashboard, etc. The left menu simply allows a quick way to have the user click a button to go to a different sheet. This would be the same action as if you selected a different sheet yourself. In this case we are using VBA to go to a different sheet. This allows the user a quick and easy way to view other sheets. I hope this helps and thanks so much.
