anyone else having problems with date formats, spent over 14 hours on this problem testing the integromat formats in the datastore and out to the text string, a lot of trial and error tracking down the format problems. basically excel inbound to integromat gets reversed, month and day wise. of anyone has worked out a bullet proof work around it would be nice to know. also having problem with the parsing of the dropbox txt file, reg date is in text format imported into excel opposed to date format

Are you formatting the dates the way you want with Integromat? I format the dates in the Dropbox Create/Overwite module and it work fine. But yuou have to get the syntax right! formatDate(FieldName;MM-DD-YYYY) is what works for me. make sure you get the Capitalization correct on the formatDate or it wont work.

Excel For Freelancers

Robert is correct, formatting the dates in the Dropbox Create/Overwrite Text field body with the format he mentioned will make sure dates come through properly. Also make sure that in our Data Store you have set the column as a Date type column In next weeks Feature, Fix or Focus video training I will put special attention on this area. thx will test out our recommendations..... I am also going to add some code which shows the machine id so people can't just keep registering for free 30 day trials, at least with the same machine. will have to add an additional column but suspect that should be straight forward.

Excel For Freelancers

Yes Machine ID is a great feature. You can also run a check on each open against that machine ID to see if it has changed (If they move the computer you can then ask them if they want to change the license ID to the new computer) So that the old one is removed and the new one is added. This allows users to change computers without adding new computers. Another possibility is to add additional computer licenses with the Same license key. I go over all of this in my Mentorship course. Thanks again.
