Hello Members,

The training we have for this week that I have shared with you was about the Dynamic Invoice Designer. If you have not seen it yet, you can view it right here on YouTube.

Now that the training has been released, I am looking for your feedback to make this even better, just for you, our incredible Patreon Members.

So, what Feature can I add for you? Did you find an issue you want me to fix? Or is there a particular area you would like me to focus on?

Please comment your ideas and feedback to any of these below and I will do my best to not only create an updated workbook but release a private training video next Monday, right here on Patreon.

I am looking forward to hearing from you and thanks so much for your support.

Hey Randy! Is it possible to get the Grand Total of all items only on the last page, and the Subtotal upto current page on the rest of the pages, and to reflect the balance brought down at the top of each subsequent page after page 1?

Excel For Freelancers

Hi Manoj, thanks very much for the great question. I did record this Patreon update with 5 amazing additions to this one already however to get the page total, you can replace the existing Subtotal formula with the following =IF($B$11=$B$12,SUMIF(InvItem_InvID,$B$4,InvItem_Total),SUM($O$10:$O$44)) What this will do is check if the current page is the last page, if it is, it will total all of the pages, otherwise, it totals just the current page, Try to get your suggestions in as soon as possible so that I can make sure to include them in the update. Thanks again for the great question and your continued support Randy

Hi Randy. Thanks for the reply.. however.. I would like a running total instead of page total, on each page (means total of all items till current page) and display the same on the top of the next page.. to dipict continuity..

HI Manoj, you would just need to adjust the formula to sum only pages on or before the current page and only for the current Invoice such as =SUMIFS(InvItem_Total,InvItem_PageNumb,"<="&B11,InvItem_InvID,B4) You would also want to create a named range for InvItem_PageNumb for the page numbers on the Invoice Items sheet> I hope this helps and thanks so much.

Thanks for the response.. highly appreciated..

Still cant find the save as pdf function despite upgrading to Silver. In the code I downloaded here, it still says 'join patreon for the code'. I know how to save as pdf, but the multipage bit still needs help, so I was hoping to find it.

Hi Geoffrey, no worries, happy to help. This is the original training. I post the original training for Patreon Members each week, 2 days before everyone else gets it. Then 8 days later I release the 'UPDATE' which gives you time to request your features, fix or focus. The Dynamic Invoice Designer Update, which includes the Save As PDF, will be released tomorrow at around this time, which is 8 days after the original training. This update contains 5 great updates as well as the Print To PDF on a single sheet. Keep an eye out for an email you will get tomorrow at this time for that release. I hope this helps and thanks so much.

For sure, you are very welcome. I thing you are going to love the solution I used to combine all pdf's into a single page. Its very unique and the first time I have done it

Interested in the last minute edit made for Manoj Parihar above in this conversation. I'd be worried a client would pay the wrong total and would prefer blank cells until the final page. I know I'm late with this but I'm sure others would be interested too.

Works great! I added in the email function from previous lessons and that will be perfect for me. Thanks!

Hi Geoffrey, thanks so much for the nice suggestion. There are some great ideas and so many ways to customize this with Page totals, Invoice Totals and lots of extras. You can use the formulas supplied in the response I gave Manoj to customize this any way you like. Simple formula changes can increase the features of those a great deal. Thanks again
