Hello Members,

The training we have for this week that I have shared with you was about the Employee Payroll Manager. If you have not seen it yet, you can view it right here on YouTube.

Now that the training has been released, I am looking for your feedback to make this even better, just for you, our incredible Patreon Members.

So, what Feature can I add for you? Did you find an issue you want me to fix? Or is there a particular area you would like me to focus on?

Please comment your ideas and feedback to any of these below and I will do my best to not only create an updated workbook but release a private training video next Monday, right here on Patreon.

I am looking forward to hearing from you and thanks so much for your support.

Great training Randy. Can you add a feature where we can have a recurring deduction with a start and end date. So if an employee has a staff loan for example you can set it to be deducted in the next 12 payrolls automatically without having to manually enter the deduction every time.

Hi and thanks so much Andray. It is a nice suggestion and I will do my best to get that added. Thanks again for your continued support.

Nice Training Randy! In this training you have one formula for all tax deductions. However these can be very complicated and different for every kind of tax/pension etc. You can have a maximum per year or calculation starting from a certain amount. Tax is even much more difficult: depending on more employers, age (elderly) and percentage depending on amount. Percantage can differ between 0 and more than 50%. I could use a table and prabably a lookup formula within the admin-section. How would you calculate/implement that in your sheet?

Hi Henk, thanks so much. I got your email and attachment as well. With taxes there are many directions to take this since each country, local zone and company have their own rules. Those are some really great suggestions. The idea would be to add more details in the Employee area based on the tax situations and conditions present. A table is a good idea, and then use a sumproduct, perhaps with match to find the correct calculation required, so based on those conditions you can locate botht he correct row and column. I hope this helps and thanks so much.
