The training we have for this week that I have shared with you was about the Vertical Scheduling Calendar. If you have not seen it yet, you can view it right here on YouTube.

Now that the training has been released, I am looking for your feedback to make this even better, just for you, our incredible Patreon Members.

So, what Feature can I add for you? Did you find an issue you want me to fix? Or is there a particular area you would like me to focus on?

Please comment your ideas and feedback to any  of these below and I will do my best to not only create an updated workbook but release a private training video next Monday, right here on Patreon.

I am looking forward to hearing from you and thanks so much for your support.

Hey Randy thank you again. I have been wanting you to do these Gantt chart styles schedulers Thanks again A question or something which I would like to do will be to have a connection between 2 or more schedules. For example when we complete 1 task, the other task should be next available time. So if I move the first task the other should move automatically I remember you telling me to add a helper columns but not sure. Also, Will it be possible to add connector lines to each connected schedules so at a glance everyone knows that after schedule 1, schedule 2 is here May be this topic is not exactly for this vertical scheduling but if possible please help.

Hi, just a question: when the PopUpCalendar appears, part of it disappears as the panels are fixed! can you advice on how to always view the popupcalendar?

Excel For Freelancers

hi Ana, one thing you can add in the code to automatically scroll to the top when the calendar appears is something like ActiveWiindow.ScrollRow = 1 You can also unfreeze the rows if you want however the scrollrow will work. I hope this helps and thanks so much.

got it with With Cells(Windows(1).ScrollRow, Windows(1).ScrollColumn) ActiveSheet.Shapes("Calendar").Top = SelCell.Offset(-2, 0).Top ActiveSheet.Shapes("Calendar").Left = SelCell.Left

final question: When I drag and drop for example an appt that is on August 12th (12-08-2025) to the same day but different hour, the date format changes to 08-12-2025!!! from dd-mm-aaaa to mm-dd-aaa....................on the updated file it happens also. please help! thanks

Excel For Freelancers

Hi Ana, you will want to force the format. Just make sure the format in your database is the format you want and also in VBA you can force it via Format(YourDate,"yourformat") Example: Sheet1.Range("A1").value = Format(YourDate,"mm/dd/yyyy") Make sure the same format is used in every cell format and in every VBA Date variable I hope this helps and thanks so much.

As far as I can see, the only 2 cells that change the format are N3 on calendar sheet and then on apptdb sheet the date column also changes from 12-08-2025 to 08-12-2025 causing the appt shape on calendar sheet to be misplaced! So shall I put the format date on those specific cell and ranges ??? Thanks

Excel For Freelancers

Its been years since i have gone into this specific template, so I do not remember the details, however the advice is just general advice which will help you every cell that contains the date MUST have the same format, Every time VBA puts a value in a cell also must be formatting via the function I have given you above. Please also make good use the the CustomGPT that you have as part of the 400 Workbook Pro Pack which will help you customize this template however you like since the Custom GPT knows everything about the code and the workbook. the Custom GPT is available in the 400 Workbook Pro package if you don't have it yet https://www.excelforfreelancers.com/400-workbook-pack-randy I hope this helps and thanks so much.
