I love the Taylor’s version of this! What would be really fun with you guys breaking down in instrumentation and production would be that maybe put a poll out after this, and maybe get people’s top few songs that they think deserve a comparison and you guys can do a little video comparing the OG and the TV and look at the differences. Some songs are way different and some songs are not much different at all but it’s a really fun thing to do and maybe there’s a handful of songs people would recommend. Either way, GOING IN ON THIS ALBUM NOW! Thank you! Just what I needed on a Monday🙏

You guys made me laugh so much with the polka and accordion Taylor eras 😂 All jokes aside though... she once accidentally released 8 mins of static noise on iTunes ahead of the release of 1989 and it went NUMBER ONE. If that doesn't prove the power of the brand, then nothing ever will.

Timeless is up there with one of favorite Taylor songs! It’s everything that I loved about her songwriting. Catchy melodies, and great story telling! The lyrics are so visual!

JT, you should find the acoustic set from London when she sings Mean and changes the lyrics to say “Someday I’ll be singing this song at Wembley and all you’ll ever be is mean”…it was awesome! Also, there is a clip of Taylor playing the opening to Sparks Fly on a 12 string!

*hides behind a tree* I was later to the TS world than I even was to 1D and all the boys. Up until you guys reacted to something from 1989 the only Taylor song I owned for decades was Mean. Because duh. I’m now paying my penance and all the $$ to slowly own all of the albums on vinyl. Well done, guys!! Side note about Thanksgiving shows. Friends “The One Where Ross Got High” is EPIC! I still can’t watch it without snort laughing. So, so attractive. 😆

Thank you for improving an otherwise ordinary Monday! I love Speak Now 💜 Innocent was inspired by the VMA's incident with Kanye. It's so gracious and forgiving. "Who you are is not what you did. You're still an innocent." She returned to the VMA's the next year and had a single from Speak Now but chose go out on stage barefoot with an acoustic guitar and sing this. When you listen to it knowing she's forgiving him in every line it's a really mind blowing song. (And makes the later betrayal even worse.)

Yeah. Sorry guys but John Mayer is a predator. Taylor was 19 and he was 32. Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve form the 3am version of midnights is from her perspective at the age of 32 and the line “give me back my girlhood it was mine first” should tell you, he did not get better with age, cause you don’t age out of being that guy.

Not me literally posting last one sorry and then immediately after I hit the post button, I hear JT say my name in the video 😂🤣. Yes Disney plus has the Taylor’s Version which has the archer, wildest dreams, and long live back where they go in the set list instead of at the end. They also put cardigan back in which wasn’t in any of the previous versions. Then they added the surprise songs from all 3 nights they filmed in LA. I started to say what they are but…surprise songs…Disney plus actually has under chapters or extras in the menu for the movie a way you can watch just the 6 acoustic songs, you have seen 2 of them in the theater version, if you want some eras tour nostalgia without the 3.5 hour commitment 😂🤣

I’ve never found Pete to be smug although I admittedly don’t know if he’s a good bassist. He’s one of my favorite lyricists, if not #1. I do agree that early fob, in particular TTTYG and FUTCT, is the best, which is why I love So Much (For) Stardust as it really calls back to early fob.

I think that you should listen to the Taylor's Versions first specifically because y'all are both music focused and taylor's rerecords have a lot of great live instrumentation and vocals on them.
