Being a one direction fan, every time zayn releases new music it brings so much clarity on why he left the band. He had so much more to say and so many different creative sides to him that he needed to let out. Stardust is one of my comfort songs that just brings me so much peace to listen to. He also played Stardust as a tribute to Liam on his last tour ❤️

GUYS. This was everything. To hear “a musician’s delight” is all I could have ever hoped for. You can both co-parent the vinyl! It really was a massive thank you gift to you both. I have listened to this countless times…but new ears on it only enhanced it. 🫶🫶🫶

The Z sides (deluxe tracks) are amazing. You mentioned them. Just a heads up-what’s cool about them is that they aren’t necessarily as polished. There are “demos”. I still love them all and think you will too. More than one of them were on his set list which says a lot to me. Stardust and False Starts are the only two Zayn didn’t write. Everything else was 100 percent Zayn and I love how authentic it is.

Oh and yes. Pillowtalk was Zayn’s first release as a solo artist. He named Chris Stapleton as an inspiration for the sound on this album. He loves Bob Marley, Elvis, Hendrix… Dave Cobb also produced and works with Brandi Carlile a lot!!

You need to see Zayn live. It’s something special. Thank you for doing this; I hope you can review his other albums also. Zayn is so humble and his music needs to be heard. All four albums are amazing. Listen to a recent song release he did for a video game. The song is Break Free. It’s so good!

In my attempt to no longer “lurk”, this is me confessing that I’ve never once listened to One Direction or any albums from the members of said group. Not. One. I know. It’s cringy. It wasn’t intentional. In my defense, prior to this year I was a chronic people pleaser whose chief goal in life was making every single person happy (except myself of course….), so my focus wasn’t on “things that make Heather happy”. Fast forward to this year. I had open heart surgery in April and I truly did not anticipate being alive today. That yanked me out of my Catholic-Guilt ridden life long enough to realize I want to live the rest of my life for ME, not everyone else. That led me to becoming a ridiculous Swiftie (I mean, she screams “Safe Haven” for the Neurodivergent, chronically misunderstood folks who just want to feel safe being themselves….). In my quest to learn more about what makes TS so good at being her, I stumbled my way into Twerk Nation. Y’all have made me feel so safe and have given me a world to escape to when resisting fascism becomes a lil too exhausting and I need a break…. So…..Here we go!! I’m sure my Virgin ears are in for a treat!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, a *cough* young lady from Seattle made the decision to invest in quality over ear headphones and only experience TTES in this way. There is ab-so-lutely nothing like the crackle of a needle being placed on a vinyl record and the subsequent cracks and pops throughout the listening experience. Bravo, Bex. 💚 I enjoyed this immensely. Well done.
