So, trying something new here! The chat playback should be part of your video that you can toggle on/off. If it doesn't work, I will post another edit next week with the chat.

i can't see the chat, anyone else running in to this issue?

Baillie Williams

I'm a lyrics girly so it's always so cool to see you guys pick up on instruments and production instantly. I wish I had the ear for it 😂

Jenna Bolmgren

Ok the guy in AYHTDWS is eerily reminiscent of Matty Healy… 🥴

DanielleFromMI

The concept of having the stage move like this is so interesting too!

Magdalena

Hey, is it just me who finds it weird to see JT on the right side of the screen? 🤣

Richard

The starlights were ALWAYS singing in the concert. Also the band was always on the stage playing just the director did the stupid thing and not showing them more doing it.

Emma Schultz

Just some background on why she wrote the song “Clean” a year before she was gr*ped by a radio DJ. At age 22. Luckily they had a picture of it happening, and 7 witnesses. She went to court he sued her, so she counter sued for 1 dollar

As much as I love the 1989 era, every time I watch the concert now I just think about Miss Americana and how this was when she didn't eat enough and would regularly feel like she was going to pass out after performing. 😢 So proud of how far she's come!

Picking a favorite Taylor Swift album is impossible for me. It legitimately depends on what mood I'm in and what version of Taylor I want to listen to in the moment.

Richard

I graduated high school in 1989

Finally had time to watch. So. Much. Fun!!! The new “live/chat” format is definitely a different experience during the playback. You have to pick a smaller screen to watch and also see the chat or to only watch the show/reactions without knowing what’s happening with chat. Unless I was doing something wrong and could figure out the correct settings. unrelated’ish - I was 19 in 1989 🤦‍♀️

Sandy Johnson

Yes PLEASE do a RED album review. I think you will love it. But do Taylor’s Version. The vocals and production are much better in my opinion

Ana Wyborski

the WANEGBT rock performance has had me wanting a Taylor rock album since 2015 🔥🔥🔥

her eyes: she wore glasses or contacts until she got Lasik in 2019 (and Jimmy Fallon got the video of her recovery from her mom). Her eyes are "electric blue" which is somewhat rare, but the stage lights (or color correction in post) seems to make it overbright. For a good shot, look at her Time person of the year photo. amusingly, she used her own glasses in those music videos where she wore them . . . . not props.

Drummer here is Matt Billingslea; he joined the band after the Speak Now tour, when her original drummer (Al Wilson) retired. Max Bernstein replaced guitarist Grant Mickelson, as well.

Molly Cornelius

I'm all discombobulated because you're on the opposite sides of the screen than usual! lol.

Lisa Atkinson

PLEASE react to the Red album (Taylor’s version) soon! It’s one of my favorites and I think you guys will really like it. It’s still a bit more country Taylor but you can tell she was starting to find her pop vibe. She collaborated with Ed Sheeran, Gary Lightbody, Chris Stapleton, and Phoebe Bridgers. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm assuming JT and I are both '86 babies, as I was also 3 in 1989. I've never seen this concert before, so it was fun watching it here. This album was when I became a Taylor fan, but I wasn't really a Swiftie yet and had never been to a concert before (because I live in Tallahassee and nobody ever comes here) so I didn't really know what I was "missing". The only thing I wish I could've seen was the Wildest Dreams/Enchanted mashup because those are two of my favorite songs, and that mashup was freaking epic. But I did make the trip to Tampa for Rep tour, and that was when I decided Taylor is probably the only artist I'll travel to see, lol. Saw Eras tour in Tampa as well, and will undoubtedly travel to see her on her next tour. She's said she's not touring for Showgirl, but I don't see her not pulling out all the stops for TS13 whenever that comes out and doing another epic tour.
