Cooley literally dropped in to do this reaction and is now heading to get on a tour bus - this is dedication, folks!!! Harry is back!!

Note: This is the exact same edit as YouTube, but I wanted y'all to have it here, too. And a few minutes earlier than YT 🤣 Plus, who the hell knows if YouTube's algorithm would even show it to you these days?

Enjoy!

Sara B.

Holy moly this was quick

Taylor W.

I have listened to this song 10 times and I don't anticipate stopping any time soon. thank you Harry, I needed this 🥲🪩

Alina

This song is a grower! Give it time to marinate🪩🪩

Taylor W.

I also love the album title AND the song title. Aperture - the part of the camera that lets light in. so cool. EDIT: I swear I wrote this before JT said it 😂 EDIT 2: thank you for saying that the descriptions people offered were wrong because I was yelling it while listening the first listen through lol

Jacquie

I don’t think you understand how I yelled in my apartment seeing this drop fr

Granny Jen

Yes! I was hoping you'd record a listen!!!

ashlee

WE ARE SO BACK

Bex

Yay!!!!!!!

Ella

it’s different but it still FEELS like Harry, you’re so right. definitely a grower, i wasn’t obsessed at first but i love it now for sure.

Bex

I’m obsessed with this song.

Rhonda Vandiver

I love this new song! I’m also waiting excitedly for Louis to be on Jimmy Fallon tonight! Then his album tomorrow.

Bex

Thank you guys, thanks for the extra effort coming in Cooley, safe travels

Bex

Harry goes places and just invites you to come along.

Sandy Johnson

The song was ….idk… kinda boring to me? Maybe it will grown on me

Rhonda Vandiver

I saw that the music video is coming out tomorrow.

kfox

When I say this song was made for me im not exaggerating. I need to shoot it directly into my veins

Haley Corbett

Like this if you think Cooleys SALUUUTE should be the outro ever time 😂

SarahD

Cooley - that’s what I thought - it has 3am club vibes… love it 💕🌀🪩

priscila

I had the same feeling, I wasn’t so into it until I heard his voice and I went like “omg he’s actually back” I really liked it, but I agree with you JT, I need the context, too 😅

LuuuuuM

Thanks for putting this out so quickly!! ✨️ I agree with JT... I must admit, this isn't my favourite style, but Harry's voice makes it come together. I can feel this song will be a grower! Btw, Cooley, this song actually sounds a lot like something Sarah would make on her solo career. If you listen to her solo projects, it has a lot of this electronic vibe.

Denise

I'm happy for Harry that he feels comfortable enough to chase different genres. I always feel bad if an artist feels tied down creatively. But I'm afraid my personal style might not be along for the ride on this one. But we'll see! Maybe some of the other songs will hit better.

Amanda Kitubu

I wasn’t so sure about it after the first listen but the more I listen to it the more I love it.

Mary (onlyeverthus)

I'm with JT, I don't generally listen to singles before an album comes out because it's hard to get the vibe of an album from just one song, and also my obsessive ass will play the song over and over until I'm sick of it, lol. So I only watched this to see y'all's reaction, and won't listen to it again until the album comes out. But I do like it from that one listen. It'll need to grow on me, and it is different, but also still kind of gave me Harry's House vibes? Maybe it's just the way his voice sounds familiar and comforting, in a way, like coming home.

Ramsey-Michele Pruitt

I’m sure it will grow on me, but it definitely isn’t my favorite. I actually really do love the genre/style, but i feel like the song itself lacked a bit of umph. I Feel Love by Donna Summer is one of my favorite songs of all time, and there were elements in the background that had a similar sound but i just kept wanting more. I also wish Harry’s voice was more in the forefront. The first time listening to it I could understand anything he was saying. All that that being said I obviously will still love Harry until my dying day and I will 100% be dancing my behind off to this song at his show.

Ramsey-Michele Pruitt

But who knows, when I first listened to Satellite I thought it was boring and now it’s one of my favorite Harry songs ever so 🤷🏼‍♀️

nina.s

wooow you are quick!!! thankyou!

Joudie

this is a safe space so i’ll admit i really didn’t like it just based off first listen🫣 im not saying the song is bad it’s just not what i listen to

RobynEilish97

For the sake of my bank account I was hoping to not like it but I fear it’s right up my street 😂 I’m immediately picturing a crowd of people dancing and singing together and I need to be in that crowd!!!

M

This song feels like an album opener to me, but not like a lead single, if that makes sense. I like it, but it just feels like a slightly strange choice for the lead single – I wanted it to be more catchy. Not my fave, but I'm still very excited about the album and just excited for him to be back.

Celine Delacour

Agree with most. He said in an interview this morning he wants the song to be like a concert experience- I can imagine becoming a thing live. And that the rest of album is more pop - this was the last song they did.

İlke B.

Song is not for my style to be honest but I am pretty sure he is cooking some other things for us. But I am super good with this because he is trying different styles, learning while we were watching and I think it is the important thing. 🌸🌸 and thanks both of you! It was quick! ❤️❤️

Denise

After watching some interviews this morning, I'm even happier for him as an artist. He seems like he really enjoyed making this.

Hanna

Thanks for doing this so quickly!😍 I love love love it, based on fan descriptions I was wondering if it would be my thing, techno usually isn’t, at least not hardcore (not that I expected Harry to go there😅) but I’ve loved everything Harry’s done so far so went to listen with an open mind. The beat is so good and I love his vocals and there’s something euphoric about it. Was listening to it on my way to work and it’s great to walk to😂 Can’t wait to dance to it🤩 Sarah’s drum tech shared the tour announcement so I’m guessing she’ll be back for it. Sarah’s been sharing stuff too but they’re friends so in theory she could just be supportive😅

Teaghan

Lovedddd the song, first listen I was confused and overstimulated but on more listen it’s a vibe and the louder I play it the better! Also kings getting this out so quick 🫡

Granny Jen

I feel sacrilegious for saying this, but I hope it grows on me. 🫣 And I'm sure it will. 💓💓💓

Miss Lee

OMG JT you took the words right out of my mouth regarding this song and how I think once I hear the whole album it will make so much sense as part of a work. I like the song and I always love Harry's lyrics but this one has yet to GRAB me. When Lights Up came out as lead single for Fine Line I listened to it over and over and over and over again some mo'. What I do love about this song immediately is the build... ADDENDUM: And of course my mind has changed...the video made me love LOVE it (cannot say the same for As it Was).

Suzy

I pulled up the lyrics and read along to the song 2x...by the 4th listen I was on an emotional rollercoaster! I love Aperture! Possibly Electronic Dance Pop? That's how I'm going to describe what I'm hearing...and I love it!

Greta

I'm still not completely sure what to think about it, but I'm excited for the album. And Sarah's drum tech just posted on Insta that he's going to be on the tour! So I hope Sarah will be as well.

Megan Houle

This song is such a moment for me -- I don't think I've ever listened to a song on repeat so many times before; it just flows so nicely & the structure is lose enough to breeze through it

Lara Lee

I agree with most folks below - the genre isn't truly my cuppa, and I was underwhelmed on first listen. But it has grown on me quite a bit (and Harry's House was mostly the same way for me - it grew). And the video DEFINITELY has now helped because it's so so so good. You guys need to check that out as well. I think it's my favorite video he's made, and that's really saying something.

SeraRose

Ohh are we getting a legit Harry dance pop album?

Jaci Hill

Harry said we are going to the club in our 30s 🪩💃🕺
