ENGI was on Magma with some other artists and had the chance to try out this Malfoy trend, haha. I was curious to see how it would turn out, and I ended up having more fun than I expected! In the end, something interesting came of it—a great tsundere! 👻💜SPAEstaba en un Magma con otros artistas y tuve la oportunidad de hacer esta tendencia de Malfoy xd, la verdad si queria ver como podria salir y me diverti mas de lo que pensaba ajaja, al final termino saliendo algo interesante de esta buena tsundere 👻💜

Honestly, I’ve never taken a stance against it; I simply like the design 😅. I detest it when people meddle in others' personal choices—as long as they’re happy and not harming anyone else, I’m more than happy to support them.

In fact, she is a rather problematic author in terms of her way of thinking; she created something great, but, honestly, I cannot support people who force others to be the way they want them to be—which is why I separate the works from the artists.

🛐Exactly, I understand her original point before it became derailed but she took it way further than "dont change my character's for theatrical Plays" i simply enjoy the world without any thought to her.

It's a trend centered around a character created by a renowned and influential transphobe with a history of funding right-wing causes, and it's a trend started and propagated by 4chan right-wingers who openly said they did it in part to counter the Petra Parker trend. Those same 4chan trolls are now celebrating getting a large part of the internet using the term "foid" because it's a term they created to denigrate women. All of this is also happening right before a new HP adaptation is coming out, so it feels almost certain to drive more attention to that series, giving more money to Rowling which will then be spent furthering her cause of wiping out trans people and any other right-wing causes she feels like promoting. Any one of these probably wouldn't be enough to make me stop following anyone who made art of it, but all of them combined is just too much.

As for the trend itself, it’s already well-established; it’s impossible to stop simply by choosing not to draw a specific thing. To be clear, I don’t support any of her views, but I do like the character designs and the concept of the magic houses. I’m just doing my own thing, without endorsing her. I’m aware that this acts as a form of publicity, but as I said, whether or not you participate doesn’t change a single thing. If you’ve been around here for a while, you’ll know that I’m a strong supporter of the entire community—I’ve even created illustrations centered on characters or the relationships between characters within that community. I simply like the design, that’s all—hahaha! Really, it’s just that.

The good thing about this is that it acts as a filter; honestly, I don’t like it when people take things like this so seriously, especially when there are more important matters. At the end of the day, it’s just an escape from reality—I enjoy creating art based on fictional characters. To be honest, I never expected it to blow up this much here, haha! Like you said, I’d expect something like this more on Twitter 😅—especially since people there know me and are familiar with all the work I’ve done over such a long time.
