I forgot to mention it in the first episode's comment, but Yuki Hayashi has also made the OST for Death Parade, which is another anime that you've watched (and which has banging OSTs as expected of Yuki Hayashi) And there's another composer called Asami Tachibana for Haikyuu that's incharge of some solo tracks, and some tracks made together with Yuki Hayashi. She makes the even more electronic sounding OSTs, though also Yuki Hayashi also incorporates electronic sounding instruments in some of his OSTs. And she also uses the guitar plus piano plus strings plus brass combo.

SKAOG

This opening is made by SPYAIR, I think their best Opening is the 13th Opening of Gintama

I’d be shocked if Tsukki doesn’t end up being Tony’s favorite, homie is sarcasm incarnate😂

SKAOG

The community could probably recommend some top tier MHA OSTs if you've enjoyed these so far

SKAOG

And Yes, the soundtrack is on par with the story, and the soundtrack is GOATed. The composers are masters at work.

Red Menace

don't know why, but when you said "theres the disney moment!" had me dyin laughin

Red Menace

are you going to watch all the seasons back to back, plus the movies and ova's? or wil you go to vote after end of season?

So there are 2 golden rules in sports anime: 1 second in anime = 1 minute real time Every cut in the training montage is like 2-3 days So its not really complete change after 24h, but still the unrealistic growth since the show must go on.

Idk exact time frame btw, but I believe it was 4 days of consistent practicing for Hinata, probably still not enough time for HOW much he had to learn, but this is definitely one of those downsides anime has where 4 days has to pass in a 20 minute span and it feels like someone became way too good way too fast because of it

Inosek

the montage was between that day and the present so I guess like a week passed but yea still the ''magic improvement''

drumrolltonyreacts

Ill take it. LOL, nobody has time so sit through a few years of montages. They will be on the national team in a few episodes

Lixien

i guess it'll depend on the enjoyment of the show.

PlatypusPrince

Yeah Yuki Hayashi is a phenomenal composer there's endless variety in every show he works on. His work on My Hero Academia is his most iconic for good reason but the Haikyu OST has some of his best stuff especially later on.

Detlef schrempf is a funny comparison for tsukishima, the tall blonde guy

SimplySora

This is definitely one of those soundtracks I go back to listen to on my own time, good stuff

kiwi

And honestly spot on too

IRG7

Isn't there only one movie that he'd need watch? I'm pretty sure the other ones are just recaps.

FullHeart

Love the soundtrack in this anime. It's got a few songs that are really good for workout playlists

K

If this is Disney, Hinata is a real Disney Princess and I would happily buy merch! 🙏🙂

Haikyu is unrealistic for sure but I think learning the basics goes pretty fast especially for the MC that has superior athletic abilities. It's akin to being able to return a ball in ping pong or tennis. I argue the other way around, the MC played volleyball for years in middle school but still can't return balls yet? I know he didn't have good people to practice with but I think they're leaning too much on needing quality people to get anywhere.

I'm renewing my subscription for this one. Haikyuu!! is the show that made me fall in love with this sport, and I'm very thankful for it. I think my passion for sports and being athletic mostly comes from watching it back in school. Since then, I've rewatched it around 10 times and have been playing volleyball myself for 7 years now. I hope you'll enjoy it too and get to witness one of the most detailed portrayals of the sport with a great span of characters
