Whenever I rewatch Haikyu it’s always just the later matches, I forgot about a lot of this earlier stuff. It’ fun

Marien Panta

Fun fact: the VA of the teacher is the same that voiced Levi from AoT. Although he might sound completely different.

SKAOG

Yeah the teacher is there to also explain stuff to viewers who have no knowledge of the sport, people can put themselves in his shoes

SKAOG

His Resume is stacked, voicing a bunch of famous characters

Arian Abdolahy

I thougt that this was Levi after retirement and therapy, no?

Don't just listen to the Crescendo, also pay attention to the build up, the layering and all the beautiful details that make the Crescendo so meaningful!

Red Menace

ya its a common thing in sports anime to have the "explainer" character, either its the main character whose fish outa water, like baby steps and tennis, or there's the complete newb/idiot who has to have all the fine details and rules explained on screen for the audience, its a good cliche, before this anime i honestly didn't know most of it, and i now enjoy volleyball, so it does work lol...

Red Menace

i laugh every time i hear the ending now, it really is just such a western sounding thing that you don't hear in anime that much
