Jesus Christ... WTF man... this episode was DARK afI can't tell if I think the moments @ the end were in line with the writing style or SO over the top that inverted into cheese. We saw some WILD choices by so many characters. This episode alone had more kills than most horror movies do, my gahhhhhwed

Halo S

7:30: They said last ep that once a door is unlocked it cannot be re-locked, so you can shut it and hope a seeker doesn't check the door, but it's a risk

Halo S

I personally thought this was a great episode. My thoughts on the discussion at the end: I don't think there's anything wrong with gi-hun's character in this episode - he has suffered a great deal, his childhood friend was executed in front of him at the end of s2 due to the failed mutiny. And yes, it was a horrible plan that would've likely failed anyway, but i think gi-hun is justified in hating dae-ho for leaving everyone else to die. Regardless, gi-hun had to kill someone to pass the game, so may as well take out the person you have a grudge with. Same thing with the mother and son. There was like 1 minute left and the son had to make a kill or die. He can't kill his mom so that leaves the new mother. I don't think it's fair to say he has to prioritize the life of that girl over his own and his mother's. He made the best decision given the situation. Now, the mother killing her son is the part that still has me a little conflicted. My interpretation is that she realized her son isn't mental enough for these games, and that he would die anyway in a later game if not now. Or she simply didn't want to see her son turn into a killer. I'm not sure, but it is really difficult to believe a mother would place the life of a girl she's known for 5 days above the life of her son. I don't find it cheesy, but it's certainly a decision i think most mothers wouldn't make. On the topic of cheese, the shaman was very cheesy imo, even the way she died was goofy. But i won't complain too much, just glad she's gone!

The son did make the best choice in the situation... BUT he had the whole game to avoid that situation, as he knew it was possible. But we had seen him make a few bad decisions multiple times so i guess it was not that outta character. I think the cheese was ... like her giving birth. Its SO over the top but , prob adds some "OMGGGG" for a lot of viewers. I forgot that our main character saw his childhood friend shot. Def adds to the trauma packing. Shaman lady was not a value add to the show for me, so I am also glad she is gone.

Are you still going to cover the Prison School OVA? for me it was defo one of the funniest episodes in the series

Jet Man

I guess that didn't apply to exits doors, since player 100 took 1 of the 3 keys and was able to shut it behind.

Halo S

yea i figure they didn't do that for the exit doors just in case a bunch of blue players flood through the exit once one person unlocks it

My heart was pounding. Holy crap

Funny my wife thought the same thing about the baby and mother when it happened. She didnt believe a solid childbirth could take place like that without leaving the mother or child severely unwell in some way. Especially with their rations and high stress. Same thing with 456 killing someone, yes he had traumas but if losing his wife, mother, and daughter isn’t gonna make him kill someone I doubt a best friend is gonna make that be the turning point for that to happen. You definitely lose some of the integrity that least seasons had imo
