This is by far the best episode of music anime we have seen. LMAOOOOUNREAL comedy. 11/10 ... the crashout on the vocalist was so brutal hahahahahhahAt this point, I have seen 2.5 years of anime episodes that have the obligatory fight inner narrative and ascension of powers happening "real time"... at no point have we seen that genre of media in a symphonic concert band setting... until today. Fucking epic LMAOThis episode will make me laugh for a long time. Excellent.

I have a feeling tony would love food wars, it's another ridiculous anime that looks up his alley.

Tony. This reminds me of when you did the reaction to Galneryus live. When you said the mixed reactions your musician friends would give if offered to play that venue. 🤣🤣🤣 Also, I don't think you have mentioned what kind of venues you would do and not do. Or I may have missed it. I don't think I mentioned this before, but my father was a band member of Rose Royce and was signed under Whitfield Records for solo projects as a singer, musician, and song writer. My cousin Will Downing is a jazz musician. My late uncle Big Al Downing was a country singer signed to Tug Boat. So I truly respect what you do Tony. It reminds me of the days of that kind of musicianship. 🔥🔥🔥

Bro only processed the word limp from all those insults 🤣🤣

So a little fun fact, the song they play in this episode is called Takarajima and it was also played in Sound Euphonium back in season 2 episode 7

"Accent level 3, water breathing!" Holy shit, I am dying. 🤣🤣

Wow, I've never heard the term phasing before. Thankfully it never happened when I used to do orchestra and band when I was in school but I'm cringing so hard just imagining it happening during a performance. Holy shit, that must feel awful when they all just give up and stop playing.

Chad band director > virgin vocalist

We've heard that piece Takarajima before in Sound Euphonium S2 EP 7 when the band played it in front of Kyoto Station. Very fun going back to hear that arrangement after having it appear in this episode. It's a really famous song in Japan, originally by T-Square, which helps explain why she knew the melody already for guitar. This anime is just a ton of fun, really taking advantage of the medium to make musical performances just as hype as any crazy fight scene. My band instructor would have thrown a chair at the rhythm section if they tried to hijack his band haha

This show really is the battle shounen of music anime and it's awesome

To be fair, I think this conductor wanted to as well. Was just a live performance, so, yeah...
