OK, this was cool so far. Good vote 👏Def loving the DnD elements with a twist. LOL - another anime with Takehito Koyasu. Dio is everywhere

This is probably the single most relatable fantasy-adjacent anime I know. And will continue to be so especially now that I'm in my 30's. I'm guessing it's not a hugely popular isekai because anime watchers are very young by average and this is more of a lowbrow thing for people who grew up in the late 90's - early 00's. I bet some of them didn't even know SEGA used to be a console giant back in the day and not just a developer/publisher. The Mega Drive kicked SNES' ass!

I knew you'd dig Isekai Uncle! It may sound silly, but the story in this series feels so... relatable I'd say, especially if you're older (30+). Great watch, looking forward to the next one already!

I like isekais because they allow you to give the story a twist that most fantasy animes can't so I've seen a LOT of them and usually they are not that good, there's a few that are really good but I never knew this one was a double reverse isekai lol. Seems good, definitely excited for next episode.

Little japanese lesson if you don't already know the tern, "tsundere" is a trope where a girl is mean to the main character because she likes him, best example youve seen off the top of my head is makise kurisu from steins gate. So the joke there was that he's oblivious to the elf girl because he fell asleep before this was a popular trope in anime.

The crazy thing is that the scenes from the OP is references from actual SEGA games You can find the comparison video in Youtube

This is an interesting anime, I am glad you get to watch it weekly instead of having to only watch half and wait for 6 months for the other half to release. It was in purgatory for to long that many people missed out on it.

Theres a lot of references to anime and japanese online culture in this show that i feel tony has no idea about lol at least you seem to be liking it!
