Watching grand blue S2 is crazy 🔥

Red Menace

cant wait for odd taxi, it will be weird to have both grand blue and odd taxi, as they are just so diametrically opposed in terms of what they are lol, both fantastic, but man. I will say this tony, its like fate zero in you really, REALLY, need to pay attention and remember, maybe not to quite the same level as fate, but near it

Rei

Did I miss the memo on Squid Game? What happened?

drumrolltonyreacts

It's still going to happen. Just ran out of time to record. TBD on return

drumrolltonyreacts

When things are good, it's easy to pay attention. When the content is zzzzzzz its harder. Fate had tons of Zzzzzz moments

Red Menace

thats fair enough, also probably didn't help that you watched week to week with all the other shows, whereas its much easier to retain and remember when you have less shows, and your watching 4 episodes a week as well.

Ay Tony, just piggybacking off Red Menace's comment to give a little extra info on ODDTAXI since we're talking about it now anyways. A lot of dialogue in ODDTAXI is inspired by a genre of Japanese stand-up comedy known as Manzai. It's a two-man routine characterised by a funny-man/straight-man combo where the funny man tells some kind of ludicrous story and the straight man reacts/corrects him. It tends to be quite fast-paced, so for people who haven't got a lot of experience with subtitled shows it can be difficult to follow along but you've been doing this for a while now so I have no doubt you'll be just fine!
