Damn, I instantly noticed that the yakuza elephant's VA was Takaya Kuroda, the same VA for Kiryu Kazuma for the Yakuza series, bro's voice was so distinct even I can spot it from a mile away

Glad you're enjoying it Tony! Great reaction btw :) keep em comin!

Jet Man

The scene with the Capoeira demonstration is so out of left field and I love it. Had no clue what Queixada or capoeira even were before this anime.

Haiiro

not sure if it was mentioned yet, but Odokawa(the walrus) is tanjiro's (demon slayer) VA. dudes talanted.

I had no clue they were the same. I'm just going to pretend they are different 🤣

FYI, the left rear passenger door is typically controlled by the driver in Japanese taxis, you're not supposed to open or close them yourself, that's why characters keep leaving it open.

Hermit

Oh god I misread, I thought you meant yellow guy

i think i suggested the opening like 2 years ago in a stream and have also been advocating for this anime 1 year ago on the patreon, really glad you got to it now and that you're enjoying it. Looking forward to seeing the next episodes, its a nice rewatch for me as well
