New character alert! LOL she is definitely a bit loud but nothing compared to Demon Slayer standards. Hopefully, she can work through her nervous quirks and assimilate into the vibe of the club.

Kiyoko, the current manager is leaving with all the other third years cuz i think thats when they go to college or sum? Not 100% sure but I i think all the third years are very inspired since this is their last shot to make it to nationals.

Yachi's definitely got a little bit of that 🟨 in her, but it's definitely a manageable amount XD Also, the current manager is gonna graduate along with the other older guys after the upcoming tournament, so that was the impetus for getting a new manager .

Casioka

This is Shimizu’s third year as well. She’ll graduate so she needs to bring in a new manager

SimplySora

I wasn’t very loud but I was super hyper as a kid so I definitely relate being unable to sit down and sit still for any amount of time lol my grades were not great In middle school anyway I cleaned up my act by HS

Shawtty

All the third years graduate this year, they are seniors. If I'm not mistaken the schools in Japan are 1-6 elementary, 6-9 junior high, 10-12 high school. So only 3 years of high school, not the 4 like the U.S

FullHeart

I dont know if anyone used to listen to Bullet for my Valentine but the OP for this season always reminds me of them, mainly the tonal quality and patterns of the guitar sounds like Scream Aim Fire album era

The first tournament in Season 1 was not the last tournament this year. It's this one they're doing right now, usually third years retire for the second tournament to focus on studies but they want to try again. But after this the third years graduate (the manager included) for sure regardless of the result.

Yachi’s great and just a funny asf character lol she has some actually nice moments in the season but she’s also not a main character like Zenitsu so you won’t be hearing her that that often. Just getting the nervous quirks out of her while she’s still new to the group.

RDA

Yeah don't worry about Yachi, she's a bit overly nervous in the first couple of episodes, but that's just for her introduction and a personal struggle she will overcome with time. Fun fact about her voice actress Sumire Morohoshi: She just turned 16 a couple of months before this season started airing so she was still super young, though she actually has been doing voice acting gigs since she's been 7 years old, so that's really impressive and probably the reason why she's already so good by the time she does Haikyuu.

SKAOG

a rare character in anime where the VA matches the age of the character

SKAOG

1:36 1:48 one of my favourite comedy moments of this anime, i'm surpised that he's even been allowed to progress through the years with those low of grades.

SKAOG

3:10 yeah, SPYAIR is pretty recognisable and consistent across their openings, but it slaps nonetheless

Yachi gets better don’t worry. I think this is the episode where her hyperbolic behavior is on display the most. I do think some parts of it are funny and relatable though, especially her tendency to spiral from benign things. I still chortle every time I see her freak out about not remembering names, and that somehow turning into a future where she’s jobless and homeless lol actually the next episode features her a lot and it’s one of my favorites in the entire show. I think you’ll like it, it’s got some great themes and it’s very well written.
