Well, things have changed just a tiny bit, and El Jefe is not very happy 😂I guess Fugo is the only one with ... more serious "foundations"? Maybe they reuinite Plot aside... whatever was different with the presentation/animation in that part I geeked out about was amazing to look at. Really found that fun to watch Looking forward to next weekGoogle Drive Link:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P9fAFqjXYoZ6Mj4cmmdIIXcmUP6wCAXK/view?usp=sharing

Araki wrote this part during a dark time in his career when him and his publisher were not seeing eye to eye. They kept turning his ideas down and he meant for this part to be darker like Fugo was supposed to be a spy for the boss. But he didn't want the bonds between them to seem faked. Plus Fugo's stand is just to OP in my opinion.

Just a reminder to slowly work on the full openings as time goes by. There are sections not included in the short openings. I believe you have done all character themes to this point. You are missing the bosses themes, yes themes, but I don't want to say the name for spoiler reasons.

SKAOG

Damn, i never knew Araki had plans like that.

Just a side note, but you might find Kevin Penkin's 2 appearances on the Trash Taste Podcast to be insightful and entertaining (the guy who composed the music for Made in Abyss, and is one of the composers for The Apothecary Diaries to name just a few). They dived into his story and his music, including his newest project composing music for the anime that one of the hosts of the podcast made

SKAOG

I believe he's also not reacted to some of the standalone songs, such as the song Coda (singer of the current opening) made centered around Kakyoin (Goodbye Nostalgia)

Walt D

I forgot about those

2:15 I agree, nervoso is a good track. I have to say that i think the composer Yugo Kanno has outdone himself as each season passes that he's been in charge of (Parts 3-6). Or it might just be me leaning into my preference of music and vibe that the later parts (5 and 6) bring compared to the earlier parts (3-4).

Boss's demonstration of King Crimson's ability is sick, with really nice visuals (applies to the whole sequence of events)

SKAOG

7:29 I think it's just the sound effect of the ability used (onomatopoeia). I guess it sounds like a Do-gyun.

SKAOG

I think the visuals are similar to the glitch when you drag a window on your desktop and you can see the after images layered on top of them (i dont have the real reason though)

SKAOG

26:07 i dont know how much you want it to be explained, but you were meant to infer that Bucciarati's soul left (the shimmering particle effect and the flies), an then returned back into the body (when his golden soul spoke to Giorno while floating and swam back into his body), but that it's now frail and he has no sense of pain.

Yeah that is why he left Shonen Jump after Part 5 so he could make his own schedule and his own decisions. After part 5 he wrote at a very healthier pace. He took 1 month per chapter instead of a week after part 6. It took about 10 years to finish Part 8 but I think Part 7 and 8 are his best work.

In animation, you'll often have the same image multiple frames in a row before getting to the next image. For example, let's say that you have a scene animated with 24 frames per second, and the image changes every 2 frames you'll have a total of 12 different images per second and it's called "animated on 2". If the image changes every frame that's 24 different images per second and its "animated on 1". Since you have double the amount of images, the animation can be much precise and fluid, but that also mean double the workload for the animators. This can be one of the reasons why that scene you were talking about felt so smooth.

as for what u were talking about the wound at the end, basically bruno made a zipper on his stomach to absorb the fist so it didnt completely impale him and then later giorno used his ability to remake the lost blood and organs and stuff, so hes back to the land of the living somehow

Next week's episode, "determinazione", is a recap btw.

kinetic98

yeah the reason why sticky fingers' movements looked so different is because king crimson can increase fps from 30 to 60 in the parts of the episode where the ability is activated

kinetic98

bucciarati's real ability is unlimited blood supply

Fugo as everyone is leaving: "You don't even know what kind of music she likes!" . 1 month later Fugo opened a yt channel dedicated to music analysis DrumrollFugo (DRF)
