Thank you Ara for the Patreon request!!This was cool - LOL spawned some fun Tangent Tony "I Miss Gaming" talksThe 1st 3 mins of this really felt like non-video game vocal music you would hear in a Cathedral. Amazing

nier replicant has some of my favourite video game music ever both the original tracks and the remastered ones are incredible

Avalon

Nier replicant and Nier Automata are technically related in a very convoluted Japanese way. But ehhhhh, not actually. But yes Automata is technically the sequel to Replicant

Sk dragon

ok now it makes sense why i couldn't find the music from this game if it's giga copyrighted. amazing OST and great game

Nier replicant and nier automata are still, hands down, my favorite video game soundtracks! I will say though, the percussion is a bit of an afterthought in the soundtrack because many of the tracks ramp up or calm down based on where you are in the game. But I'm sucker for good string section, and the exchange between the voice, brass and the strings are magnificent in most tracks.

I probably should have finished the video before typing all this out LMAO. You pretty much covered it all in the latter half 😭

Hermit

I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on Wretched Automatons, from the same ost, I might request that one at some point 🤔

Fucks 4 V-Bucks

Yeah no. Square Enix is very... uptight with their music being uploaded to YouTube. It's the reason why we have to get around it by titling songs as "This Is Not [insert name of song]" lol

Chris Johnson

My favorites too. Although Expedition 33 has something to say about the #1 spot though.
